No, only on foes with a lower level than your character's. I'm only assuming that based on what I was trying with triangle slots. I had an attribute of 18% stun damage, and it worked on a regular basis on lower level enemies, but when I tried it against those equal to or above, the frequency of stun damage shifted dramatically to none. I'm not sure if its exactly the same for both stun and fear, but it probably is. They are cheap tricks that only work on the feeble minded, as the game says. So, I wouldn't bother with it. However, you can use the Jedi mind trick on yourself while looking in the mirror in case your having a bad hair day and give your self some very otherwise convincing self-esteem boosts. (Stole that from robot chicken)
A sandbox is like a virtual machine or environment in which to run an OS different from the main one the pc is on.
Level up I've been playing the game for a while, I'm a level 60 now but it takes forever to advance. I really just want to get to the next class of weapons as in eternal battle I'm way outclassed. I'm fighting guys that are level 128 and unless I've got major potions on my side I can't do hardly any damage. I still have version 1.0 so I can glitch if I have to but there's nothing for me to glitch. What's the best way to advance and get the next class of weapons? Thanks,
None glitch play. Hi all, I've been using the glitch to boost my weapon and have been finding armour and such legally. With the new patch I now can't join multiplayer and so my question is: is it worth giving up the glitch to have the multiplayer side of the game? Is co op a valid way of getting past levels with an effective pay wall (or decades of grinding). Thanks in advance.
Hey dudes. I play this game on my kindle. For those stuck on the main quest "Defeat the council war mage" after beating the game the first time around: You are probably missing the fact that it expects you to redo the arena battles in singleplayer on "Elite" difficulty. I know I made this mistake myself after going through the game and beat it several times again in normal difficulty and kind of scratching my head about why the quest was not updating. Select elite instead of normal on levels from here out and you're golden. I read through most of this thread because I was curious about a bug that reset my character level to 1, but kept all previously earned skill points. It also unfortunately destroyed my third passive slot which I had spent my crystals on, but whatever. It happened to me many times when my character was between levels 15-20 while playing multiplayer coop matches, especially on the lightless grove level, always after successfully completing a coop game. I would pop into the next game and suddenly my character would be reset to level 1. This bug allowed me to pump up many skills to level 20 by repeating levels 1-20 so many times, (here's a picture of one of my skill pages: but eventually the bug just stopped happening so over the past 3-4 days I've gotten my warmage up to level 64. I would really like to know how this bug happens because now that I've unlocked the later level skills I would like to reset and pump them up like I did the earlier ones! Early on I also discovered that the warmage gloves "Forgotten Cuffs" cost 74,667 gold to buy from the store, but then sell back to the store for over 500,000 gold. I used this to get all the cash I needed to buy and upgrade any of the equipment I needed through the rest of the game. The game is incredibly poorly balanced in that there is never a point past say level 6 that equipment you find in drops is in any way adequate to beat levels. You HAVE to use the store bought equipment. I found that a great combo for boss killing with the war mage is lvl 20 benediction + level 20 freeze ray. The constant targeted criticals seem to zap bosses health down faster than any other character of similar level to mine seems to be able to do. I've never used the equipment glitch, but after sitting in PvP games the first day or two I had the game to collect crystals (and then finding all my crystals whiped the next morning) I don't seem to be able to successfully join PvP games anymore (either that or absolutely nobody else ever joins the ones I host) for abybody curious who doesn't know, charm of the monk lv1 is +5% attack speed and charm of the scavenger is +10% gold find. all you have to do to complete the vague weekend challenges is usually beat the level named, either in single player or multi. Oh, almost forgot, if you die in a multiplayer eternal battle you can usually "leave match" and rejoin the same game immediately if you know what wave level to select to start on, so pay attention to which wave you are fighting if you want to keep up with a good group.
Grind wyrms nest over and over again until youre ready to take on eternal battle. Eternal wave 1 is only lvl 38 enemies. Surely your lvl 60 character can easily wipe them out? I ground wyrms nest from about lvl 58 to 72. If i am lucky, a high level dude will help me gain xp during co op in eternal as he wipes out waves after waves. It will also be helpful if you use the wheel of fate to stock up on gems over a few days until you can buy a decent ring. Jagged loop is great. It gives +31% xp iirc. I have stopped at lvl 88 and moved on to other games. Fed up of keep freezing in multiplayer. Besides, theres nothing else to play for.
So ur that warmage the other day who keeps freezing all the enemies around to death.... Lol On the lvl reset glitch, i had it a lot while playing as warmage. Some as a blademaster. But never as a sentinel. Its weird and unfortunately i couldnt repro it. The last time it happened iirc i tried to host a co op and it failed then i went to lvl 1 just like that. As a warmage it happened in Weeping Woods a few times mid co op.
Tip for all. Save ur gems for last when it gets very grindy to lvl up. Buy a good ring. Great ones offering up to 42% xp boost can be had for 50 gems only when your are im your lvl 80s.
I was extremely expert and did really good in multiplayer and solo online fights during extreme levels. I received AAA rating easily. I am speaking of dh3. I have only played dh3 until I lost my progress and gave up on rebuilding it since I was maxed everything. Coming from dh3 and enjoying it 100%, will I enjoy dh4? I did download dh4 and played maybe 30mins worth until I deleted it. But reading the posts here I want to give it another shot. Is the multiplayer aspect of this game similar to dh3? Will I progress to better weapons, armies, etc. if I only play multiplayer?
Pretty much, but multiplayer pings a lot, and you'll probably end up having to play SP to get to the better levels for XPing.
bugged did anyone experience some bug that turns ur character into another? meaning i'm lvl 48 batlemaster and in solo everything seems ok but in multiplayer my health from 70k becomes 500 and my attack from 60k per second becomes 50 and since my character is a dude i see him as a woman in the inventory tab? what can i do to fix this.also i'm using a galaxy s3 device so no iphone.
Yeah maybe. I've tried to replicate it but no success. All day yesterday I couldn't connect to or stay in multiplayer games for more than a few seconds. I managed to make a lv 9 charm today, but im at the point where it takes 8 hours to remove a charm from equipment, 14 hours to combine two level 8s, on and on. I got 2 charms of the monk as gifts from friends so that is pretty cool, since they are so rare (never seen one drop actually). Wish someone had beta tested this game and balanced it so that buying items wasn't quite so necessary and created a situation where it was either impossible to progress or way too easy depending only on which weapon you could afford at the time. I got to level 67 but you're right that there is nothing left that this game has to offer once you've beaten the elite levels. Grinding wyverns nest or endless battle over and over for no real reason is tedious and pointless. There's no rare gear to collect, and I havent been able to enter a pvp battle in a week. Think I'm done with this game.
To clear up on the Monk Charms, you get them via weekend challenges that as far as I know choose a random Special Charm.
yeah, and apparently as randomized gifts from friends, which is the exceptional thing I was pointing out. so dont forget to send gifts to friends they can get pretty much the rarest stuff in the game from it!
Thanks for the reply. I have completed Eternal several times on Elite, now when I START it, the guys are level 117! I can complete the first two waves but then it's too hard for my Level 60...I'm just not sure if I should keep playing or stop. I buy the XP and Damage potions to play so I can really rack up the XP but it's slow going even with 236% (ring, passive and potion). I feel like I just need more powerful weapons but none are available for 13 more levels!
When you host a new eternal battle in multiplayer you can start the wave at any number you'd like. If I remember correctly waves 28 - 31 have monsters that are in the 70s level wise so maybe that's an easier point for you to start. If you cant connect to full multiplayer to host a game you can always start a "local" multiplayer game and it gives you the same wave select options after you go through selecting eternal battle the initial game hosting menu. You don't even need an internet connection to host a local multiplayer. I was basically in your shoes this weekend and I decided to stop playing because I just don't see the game going anywhere for me from that point onwards.
