Short version- 1. Start merging a gem (lv 1s are best because the timer is only 2min) 2. Wait, when timer is close to finishing go to the shop and highlight the weapon or armor piece you want. It should show on your character. 3. Wait for merge timer to finish. You should see the your characters idle animation stutter, then the item from the shop that was showing in your character will revert to what is actually equipped 4. Find your free item in your inventory.
From what I know for passive: life leech + energy leech, improve critical; for active: roll and probably benediction. Although I heard that energy leech is not necessary as you can easily makeup for it using gems in the late game since most of your gems slots will be squares..... I too am interested in hearing other people's suggestion on an optimal sentinel build especially in late game. Does anyone know which is the best active skill and whether energy leech passive really pays off in the long run?
For my sentinel I've gone max life leech, a little poison and now saving for crits and ice for passive. For the actives I've found bear traps and haste to be really good. With high dps the bear traps wreck whole mobs. Fun Fact...or should I say another Fun Bug, when you have a +energy on hit charm equipped, the bear traps will almost always completely refill your mana when you use it.
Just wanna ask if any of you encounter a bugged regarding your stats being 0% and did you find any solution for it.. i cant do co-op and pvp because of it.
What JagerbombS mentioned sounds quite good. I'd say go for the +Crit and +Lifesteal passives, after that whatever suits your fancy. But I would advise against Poison, at least from my current experience: It does Damage over time, which I find quite useless, as stuff still dies very fast. Note that I am only level 32, so I cannot comment on endgame setups yet. So far, I feel very comfortable with my Sentinel, the ranged attack feels much easier to play than with a melee character. I did not spend any points on skills yet, hoarding them up for Lifesteal at lvl38, and I did not encounter much difficulty yet. I got me the whole Void set (hello, bug! ), upgraded it fully (which was a waste in hindsight, upgrading the weapon would have been enough) and bought the Lifesteal ring at 100 gems. In hindsight, I could have waited even longer with the ring (prices drops when you level up; that ring now is at 50 gems for me). Working on getting a full ugprade to tier 49 now, which takes some time thanks to the timers... Lifesteal makes a huge difference: I have ~8% currently, and can duke it out with the last boss in the Giant's Steppe arena, without any noticeable health loss. Mural Corridor was a good deal tougher, but I survived even that on second try. Focus on upgrading your weapon, and on one or two gems to upgrade as far as possible. Inventory is too limited to hog everything you come across. I made +Crit damage and +Lifesteal gems my priority, but got a bunch of others at lvl5-7 as well (see below). I also took my time with going through the levels, and completed each "defeat X monster with Y tier weapon" sidequest, simply to have them out of the way and allowing me to drop a lower tier weapon sooner. That is also where my other gems come from: Some sidequests require you to use an elemental attack or Poison to kill a certain number of enemies. So I hogged one Poison and one of each Elementals. Might give the Bear Traps a try at some point. But right now I like it to just stand there and fire away.
Questions: Weekend Challenge , Elemental/Poison Attack Weekend Challenge: Did anyone figure out how that works? How do you complete those? Currently it says "Kenashi Trials Challenge", but I do not see details on how to complete it anywhere. Elemental/Poison Attack: Do those add to your damage? Or -as someone else wrote - do they change a percentage of your damage to the respective element? I forgot to pay attention to my DPS when I put the last set of charms in. If noone can answer this, I will try to figure it out while upgrading to Tier49.
Life leech isnt nessecary if you use the merge glitch. Edit: tier 73 weapon gives level 8 life leech gem
Looks like I can save up even more skillpoints then How much percentage does the level 8 gem give? Is that enough for endgame? If I remember right, several people who already play the "Elite" levels advised to go for as much Lifeleech as possible - including the skill.
Level 8 is 4.5%. I use 2 level 10 which gives a total of 11%. Its more than enough for me. But its true that u need a decent amount of life leech to even get to tier 73. But it can be done with gems only.
Iam currently level 37, in Elite L.Grove.. cant pass it. are level 49 tier set good enough.. currently there were already tier 50+ on my shop who sells like 4m gold for weapon.. i wanna know how much dmg does a fully upgrade void weapon give.. I cant relate to sentinels because im a blade master.. i currently have 7% leech and have no problem passing all normal dungeons.. been to eternal battle and last until wave 22 i think.. I met some lvl 100 doing.. i dont know how is that even possible to level so fast..
Can only say for the Void Bow: Not enough Damage is approx. 8k-11k for me, with some lvl5-6 gems for damage boost. Don't have the exact numbers in my head. Definitely make upgrading your weapon top priority. Even 4M should be quite easy to get, when I look at how much I have (~700k, made those in under 2 hours, and I am not even playing Elite yet), and how much I spent on upgrades (easily over 1.5 million). @Jimbobo: Thanks for the info. To test, I removed my Lifeleech Charms and used only the +3.5% Ring. Not enough for Mural level, died on wave 4 against the 2 huge dragons (which look really good, btw).
Re: Elemental Damage Found that on the Gameloft site, here: http://support.gameloft.com/OnlineAndSocial/showSelection/262/ ----- What is the difference between Damage Bonus, Poison, Fire, Bleed, Lightning, Radiant and Ice damage? Those are magical bonuses which are added to the damage dealt by your basic attacks and skills. Some damage types are more effective against some enemies, as you will discover. The Poison, Fire and Bleed damage bonuses are different than other damage bonuses because they are dealt over time. The duration of each of them is different and they do not stack. The damage is divided across the duration of the damage over time. Poison last 4 seconds, Bleed last 3 seconds and Fire last 2 seconds. Lightning, Radiant, Ice and Damage Bonuses are applied to every hit. ----- I did not see any "Bleed" Charms so far. Did anyone get those? If yes, where? And the 3 DoT types do not stack? Weird...so no use in having more than 1 type at a time, apparently.
Also from Support site: http://support.gameloft.com/OnlineAndSocial/showSelection/262/ What is the maximum level I can reach in this game? -- There is currently no limit to the level you can reach in the game. -- Interesting.. I wonder who is the highest level currently.
Why so low, melee weapon have higher dmg.. but iam not sure if a fully upgrade void shortshorts can go beyond 20k dmg.. Its easy to farm but bored since i cannot play multiplayer.. my character got bugged..i dont know how to resolve them .. already filed a ticket but still no temp. resolution coming from them.. I think there were no bleed charms available or maybe it rare just like the charm of monk which gives you attack speed and can get from weekend quest. Bleed can get from active and passive skills also.. example are Serrated blade from blademaster.. What map do u farm crafting materials??
Do you mean raw damage, or DPS? The ~8k-11k is the raw damage number, shown when you highlight the weapon in your inventory. My DPS is ~35k with the fully upgraded Voidbow, if I remember right. None, really. Takes way too long to collect enough for it to be worthwhile. +AttSpeed sounds very interesting. Do you know how to actually solve a weekend quest? Also, the weekend quest shown for me changed today, which is a bit weird as it is Thursday.
Ice/Lightning/Radiant are applied instantaneously, so they cannot stack per definition If I get around to it, I will check if having all three in makes a difference in damage output. I actually have them all 3 active, but have to admit I never paid attention if the damage stacks; just assumed it would, and I have enough charm slots to run out of charms before I filled them all.
My current weapon have 20k raw dmg at full so i was asking if a void weapon which is tier 49 will be higher than those which i currently have.. Currently my dps is around 64k I dont know how weekend quest really works. It was around weekend on my time when i received the said item. I just finished a dungeon which turnout to be my weekend quest. then the item will be automatically added to your inventory without notice . so i was like surprised when i check my inventory and received 16% atk speed charm
Interesting, so Melee and Ranged could have different damage output; maybe to make up for the lack of range Melee has. Would be only fair. After all, in the time you need to run up to a mob, I can get off a few shots already. Tier 49 which unlocks once you get to the Wasteland is already better than the Tier 47 crafted Void stuff. And I did some testing just now: Tier 49 bow, raw damage ~11k-13k. Sidenote: I wonder if what we call "raw damage" is the "base damage" that can be raised via Charm. If yes, those Charms are totally useless. Best one I saw so far gave +36 base damage, I think. Absolutely negligible if your weapon gives 10k+. Unless I miss something fundamental here, of course. With a +18% Fire Charm, my raw damage did not go up at all. And my DPS raised by a whopping 10 points, from 26.090 to 26.100. So still no clue how that damage gets calculated. Gameloft says "Fire lasts 2 seconds". 18% of 13k is 2.340. Divided by 2, this should give an additional 1.170 DPS, not a lousy 10. Might be that just the DPS displayed is not calculated correctly. Will check later if the Charm makes a difference in an actual fight. With the +18% Fire Charm in, I removed my +4% Radiant Charm. My DPS dropped from 26.1k to 25k . 4% of 13k is 520; this translates to 2 shots per second, which fits. So that calculation/display looks correct to me. And I finally found the "Stats" button in the Inventory menu Only 5% base Crit chance? Looks like stacking up +Crit chance triangle Charms and the skill for the same might be a good approach. Maybe even replacing the +Lifesteal Ring with a +Critchance, depending on what you need. Add in as many "+x% raw damage" and "+x% Crit Damage" Charms as possible, and we should get some really noticeable results.
