It still emphasizes on microtransactions to the game. While having more skillslots increases character power, at least lessen the dang emphasis on IAP.
I agree. Personally I prefer the 'coin doubler' concept, which they have in this game (rings). I generally stay away from the other IAPs. Unfortunately, I think punch quest initially showed that a soft approach doesn't always work. Oh well.
While the Rings count as a wise investment, everything else pretty much says 'Pay for some IAPs!' to get better. Yeah, that really does not help that much with multiple insurmountable difficulty scales throughout the course of the game. In fact, items that cost Gold usually aren't worth the grind for. They are bananas overpriced for their power. (Banescale Sword, 1.6 mil. What? And only for 11-13k base damage? For the Wasteland? That's absurd!) This same deal happened in Dungeon Hunter 3, except the weapons have their own source of power, but it still takes FOREVER to get that piece of armor or weapon you want. Call me insane and crazy, eheh, okay, but I remember that getting the Tier 5 Axe for my Warlord in Dungeon Hunter 3, it took me THREE WEEKS to get the money for it. And unfortunately, Gameloft didn't learn from their previous mistakes with the last game. I'll let them do what they wish, but when I start seeing a rather large emphasis on IAPs and long periods of grinding, then that's when I'm going to call bad business practice on them.
Oh, perfect. I had the progression error occur on me again! Thanks. Officially, Dungeon Hunter 4 completely sucks. This says to me it's unfinished, but it has microtransactions AND it's released to the market to the hands of the public. I call poor development behavior on Gameloft, and also bad judgment on Apple. An unfinished game isn't supposed to be on the App Store. But it is, and I cannot begin to fathom how it recieved that leeway despite the progression error, DPS calculation erasing, and even the stat reduction thing. Gameloft, you should have finished this. DH4's unfinished. That's purely enough said.
On the bright side, we can exploit the charm bug because it's unfinished. And what is progression error?
Levels don't work properly, enemies stuck and not attacking you (But NPCs and enemies still attack each other.), and important enemies don't spawn. (Like Kra'ileth the Igniter, for example.) Cooperative levels also cannot be started as the ring does not respond and turn white. But yeah, the charm exploit is a good unfinish. Exploits 4 lyfe.
Charm bug crashing Anyone figure out how to solve the charm crushing after the process finished? I got two crafted item with the bug but cant do it snymore, it crushes. Ive tried rebooting and everything. Thanks
so i didnt want to read through the pages.. but question regarding Mobs not attacking me and main quests not working.. any fix?
Are you trying it with the same item? If you are trying it for an item but you have it equipped, the game crashes. Happened to me when I tried getting the Spirited Helm. Other than to wait for an update, not likely. It has been stated before that playing PVP would fix the issue, but it only has a 1/10 chance doing so. If PVP doesn't work, then you have to wait for the Hotfix Patch to come out or you have to create a new character and delete the plagued one. Sorry.
I read earlier that it does work in crafted items - I'll give it a go later once I have some level 1 charms to try. With the 'normal' gear, the glitch works 100% for me when I merge level 1 charms, and have no other merges happening at the same time. Could be coincidence, but that's all I can identify as issues when a couple of attempts have crashed on me.
can you please direct me on how you did it because it just keeps on crashing. trying to get void short swords.
