I second this. There isn't a chance to beat this by "being patient" or having "skill". If you have gotten to the warmage academy you'll get the crap beat out of you and you can't stop that.
Why is everyone complaining about the warmage academy? I was lucky enough to get a charm that restores health, all I did was use my attacks (specials) to kill all but 1 Mage of a wave...I then left that Mage and hid behind a pillar until my health recharged and rinse and repeat Completed the academy at level 8 Although I must admit its pure luck I got that charm that restored my health....but it turn I never upgraded my armour or weapons which would have helped a lot as well
I'm one of those lucky persons who has a decent job (not rich), make some 70k+ a year with few debts. I have a gaming hobby my whole life and have a "gaming budget" about $250-$300 a month that i put aside to a separate account and use just for my gaming. Some months i dont use nearly as much as $300 and other months i use a bit more. Anyhow just to share some stats on my insane addictions: Emross War i spent over $2,000 in game Chronicles of Merlin: spent over $3,300 in game Heroes of Order and Chaos: spent over $500 Order and Chaos Duels: spent over $200 (this is the worst game of all time btw) Anyhow in this game i dumped $60 mostly on the gold gamble wheel trying to get the 32hp per second rune lol, I bought my battlemage full weapon/armor and socketed some decent stuff then regretted it all because online pvp is no challenge, game is no challenge and i dont see this game being a long term fun game. I would be happy to pay up front and a monthly subscription fee to play a game with NO IN APP, where all things are able to be farmed and got with one currency. Game Loft is famous in the community for failing their customers with giant in app purchases, pay to win, and some of the worst server stability across the board. As for this game, i honestly want to like it but i don't see it being balanced online in PVP and this is the whole point of leveling up and maxing items so you can have some good competition online, but in the end its just a giant pay to win game. I would pay $10 just to be able to get rid of the always on "shop" line on top of the screen, it takes up about 20% of my visible area... it really destroys the immersion. Further the melee classes have to mash buttons ad nauseum instead of allowing a "push to auto attack" like the ranged classes have... The other thing that is really annoying is that you get 1 gold when breaking things, it is just a waste of time to break barrels/chests most of the time.
This man is a genius I've not gotten too far into this game yet, but I played a bunch of DH3, found the *gameplay* (remember that stuff) ahead of DH1 or DH2. Ultimately it got to be too repetitive and I deleted it, but I certainly put more hours into it than I did DH1 & DH2 combined and, truth told, spent more ($5) on it than I did on DH1 & DH2 combined (GL's $0.99 sales for my win and their loss). For me, so far at least, this is way ahead of the clumsy and soulless implementation of DH2, and way beyond the pure repetition and grind of DH3. It's cost me nothing, provided me entertainment, and whether I stick with it or not, wind up paying or not, it's all pure win. I have no idea how people can be so insulted and upset that people are giving them something for "free". Download it or not, play it or not, pay something or not, but if you're more worried about the monetization scheme in the abstract than you are with whether the game, as implemented, actually works, you are missing the forest for the trees. The only time I bother to get irritated with the monetization scheme is when it genuinely fails the game (c.f. Hell Quest), not whether I can imagine a world of rainbows and unicorns where devs could make my perfect games for free.
Alright I'm now stuck at the Archives and there's no way to complete this without IAP or potions. Guess it's time to delete the game.
hey i just downloaded the game on my ipad 2 but it keeps crashing at the starting screen. is there any way to fix this? already tried reinstalling and shuting down my ipad but no luck.
.. So I am at the warmage academy and definately died a bunch of times... I used all my potions and still died. I am lv 8 and havent spent anything on IAP but I will get through this area somehow
The game just release today. Why you don't relax, kill some demon, do the repetitive "Save Me" event. All this give you Gold and experience. Take time to find the best loot and upgrade, Go to the lotery to get a free gem. Come back to see if you can bet it to unlock a new area. Even if your no match, these monster will give you more experience and gold than the lower level. Relax, take your time and enjoy the complexity of the game, or else you can alway pay for some gem.
Not possible, because this game is not based on skill whatsoever. You are restricted by the games capabilities on how strong your character is compared to the enemies. There is no dodging enemies and no different combinations to attack. There is a Massive IAP wall when you get to this point of the game. It's a good thing they tell you to rate Dungeon Hunter 4 before you reach this point in the game. Health potions are an intricate part of any Diablo like ARPG. When you cant loot them from enemies or use more than one in the span of 8 hours. It limits your progression in the game.
Works fine on my iPad2, so I'd say it is not a general issue. Did you try rebooting, NOT shutting it down? Only reboot cleans up the memory, as far as I know, unfortunately Only other thing I know right away is: If you have a huger number (say, >200. I have 100-120, and all runs smooth) of apps installed, that uses a huge chunk of memory for the icons as well.
I have already upgraded all my items 3 times and triple gem-ed them. Could barely get past the first area. I don't see any item in the shop that can significantly improve my chances without IAP. It's just a meaningless grind at that point, in my opinion. I'm not the game's target audience, so I've already deleted the game.
