I'm glad that seems everything fine. Means much to me. I'll be working on few new updates and android version then. Also don't forget to rate new version in store ; ) This is the best support for me right now : )
Loving the whole "stash" idea. Also love the tutorial book end treat. Spent the runes already trying to get to the boss. Could only get to dungeon 22 so far hehe. How rare is the pet dragon?
I loved the old health system and I'm incredibly dissapointed with the new one hit kill mechanic. It simplfies the game, and makes play sessions fly by too quickly. There was depth to the health system. I'm going to play it seriously tmrw morning before I make up my mind for sure, but I'm probably going to ask for a refund, since when I bought the ham on day one of the release, BUGS ASIDE, this was a much better game... The new mana system's interesting, along with everything else that was added. Why the hell the health system needed to be changed, is completely beyond me. It was probably the least broken aspect of the game. It really blows it took 3 months to get a dumbed down version of this game. I could care less about the $5, but I didn't pay for THIS game, I paid for a significantly different one. I'm not mad, despite my tone. Just incredibly disappointed with how it came put, and the fact that my money had a hand in supporting its development. I hope there's enough negative feedback to convince you to go back to the old health system. It made dungelot a deep and unique game, and now it's a shallow minesweeper knockoff.
I hope not, really. It's very easy to say "go back there, make that" Those were hardest 3 months I ever had. I can't make game suitable for all players. I believe there is enough depth in new system. I don't know about what mechanic you talking but originally Dungelot was designed as a "simple, minesweepish rpg game ", and it's main different from other rpg/roguelikes was in movement system and the way you act in dungeon ( as for me ).
Try using restore button, but if you speak about test version ( if you participated in close test ) it wont restore as those are different applications and you better ask refund via appstore
I believe the bonus is 2 gold per level of floor with a minimum of 10. So 10 for floors 1-5, then 12, 14, 16, etc. Ramps up quickly.
I disagree with this strongly and I hope you will too after playing a bit more. The direct effect of monster health was...you had to tap each monster more times. I enjoyed the long term progression of getting and improving items to do damage, although the tradeoff was that it was incredibly frustrating to do a run and not get a few damage upgrades nice and early, or when items broke. In the new system, monster power is all you have to think about but it still matters a ton in terms of making strategic decisions and many monster types effectively still have health as they have special abilities where attacking them once does not kill them and reduces but does not eliminate their power. Many monsters have armor, too. So I think about how much damage I'm going to take and that includes if I can hit them with a spell or item power that will reduce their power before I actually tap them and let them attack me. So far I especially value the crossbow (which has a chance to do 1 damage to a monster other than the one you're attacking) because if a monster has like 14 power and just 1 lousy armor, that little plink from the crowssbow can save me a ton of pain. Compared to the old version, it keeps a lot of the same strategic value while streamlining the gameplay, which is great for people like me who play on the metro. And I haven't even said anything about spell management (gems are brilliant - every time one appears I have to decide if I should use it or save it - will I be uncovering monster or totems/spells next???), item management, or hero leveling. Basically I would encourage you to play a bit more, because I suspect that you haven't experienced the awesome meat of the game yet. I'm just starting to scratch if after two straight hours of play. This game...might never be deleted from my phone.
What exactly are the golden hams for ? I can see an Iap for unlimited hams , what advantage will that give me?
Loving the new game Pixeye, the bugs I was encountering with the Dragon in the test version seem to be gone, and I love that you added the max health value in the character stat screen. I went to purchase the gold ham this time around to thank you for your work (I'd previously asked for a refund a few months ago) but it seems it got restored even though I was refunded. I'm probably going to pick up a Rune pack just to send some thanks your way for your work!
Good update Really enjoying the new game can can really tell much work was put into it overall really like it .... however i would also like to be able to see how much attack damage is done to the monters just like in the original dungelot( as i recall in the original u go special weapons that gave u more attack damage) overall good game
I think the one hit kill is much nicer, unless you consider using up more time to be a desirable goal. With Dungelot 1 I'd often end up in silly situations where I decided to kill a boss, and I know beforehand it's going to take 6 hits and I'll take 6 damage, and I have sit there and tap 6 times. If the outcome is already foregone, then just let me tap once to accomplish the same thing.
I'm not bothered by the new attack system it's fine for me and by now everyone should know it's a new game with all your progress bar IAP ham gone. I am still annoyed by mana usage though as it always required so much just to stay alive removing totems and generally not using many spells at all due to the cost unless they were health. Now the game requires even more mana with all these things the baddies throw down ontop of totems! But still happy with the game and enjoying so far, that's just frustrating still.
Pixeye great job! I'll leave a review for you soon. I know it was tough dealing with people bashing you about a game that was almost like your baby. But you worked hard at it to make it right and I love where it's at right now. You should pat yourself on the back. I think learning from mistakes is the best thing so now you've learned what to do in the future when you inevitably make more hit games. Best of luck
I hope you reconsider and reinstall the game and give it another chance. This was a huge update that completely revamped the game. It's pretty much a whole new game and it would've been impossible to save all of your progress, not to mention whatever you've previously acquired would be useless in the new version. Everything from looted buff items to weapons and armor have been either replaced by different items or completely removed. If you're only upset because you have to re-unlock all of the dungeons, then just look at it as learning how to play, and making progress in, a new game, because it really is a new game. My progress was totally wiped too and the only emotion I felt upon seeing that was excitement. I'm loving this game. *Just going to throw a request in here to the awesome developer: maybe in the next update we could get some Game Center achievements?
Thanks for your kind words Yes, we have plans to add achievements, but Don't figure out yet how to do it better as there is no gamecenter for android phones and game is crossplatform. I can use googleplay center service as it can be implemented both iOS and androids but this is a huge change. Next update will be little, without drama. Just fixing little glitches, adding little things
