Haha, yeah I remember. Luckily one of my fathers friends had a stash of games under his coffee table that I got to play when we went to his house. In fact that is where I first played Pitfall.
I can remember coming home from KB Toys with Defender from the budget bin and marveling at the fact that not only did your ship disappear when you fired, but you could direct your shots after fired as well. Still, not a bad port for the 2600, it was quite playable.
