I still have my DS Lite and used to play it religiously lol...just got my iPod touch 3G about three weeks ago now and I find myself playing my DS (and PSP for that matter) A LOT less. I'm not too sure why just yet. I still love my Fire Emblem, Dragon Quest, Luminous Arc, Advance Wars, Zelda, etc. but I'm also really enjoying the games on itouch - they're a different variety but still. Anyone else migrate to the touch from another handheld? Just interested in different people's responses.
I had a DS that I played a lot. It broke, and I got an iPotch. Later, I bought a DSi. Now I play both about the same.
It's not so much that I play my DS or GBA or GB less after I got an iPhone, but I don't ever carry those around with me. I have my phone on me at all times. And since it's very much acceptable to use my phone while at work, it's easy to get away with playing games on it. If I brought in a non-phone handheld, not so much. Most of the time that I play non-iPhone handheld games is when I'm laying on my bed or something though. And maybe if DS developers would make some games worth buying, I'd play it more. Golden Sun DS and Infinite Space will surely get me to play the DS more, as well as Zelda: Spirit Tracks after I get my hands on it.
Just bought a PSP Go two days ago for my birthday, so obviously my PSP right now. I can't stop playing LittleBigPlanet!
I have a DS Lite and play it every once and a while, but my iPod Touch dominates my portable gaming time. Typically because it's just a lot more convenient to bring a long. Although I will bring my DS along if I have an urge to play Fire Emblem or Advance Wars.
I've got a DSi and a PSP1000, but I've not switched the PSP on in over a year, and the last time I used the DSi was to take a quick photo of something. Last time I used my iPod Touch? About 30 seconds ago.
iPod touch. Not iPod Touch. [/facepalm] Anyway, I still play with my PSP often, maybe slightly less than with my iPod touch because honestly, some of the games are better than the iPod touch games.
I was given my DS Lite as a b-day present a couple years ago and still play it a lot. I've only really played my PSP a few times (mostly just D/L'ing demos)...well, I sank about 10-12 hours into Star Ocean: First Departure but kind of stopped playing it b/c I thought the gameplay, while fun, didn't really go anywhere. I just love playing games on my itouch. But I still go back to my DS for "full" games, if that makes sense (not like the itouch doesn't have "full" games either but you get my drift).
