I love atmospheric games, my problem with Myst and its sequel was the kind of puzzles they had.

    Somewhere in your imagination
Silent Hill <- most epic atmospheric game ever created by man or god.
Also see Forgotten Memories, a soon-to-be released game that is very similar to Silent Hill!

I think it will. The game doesn't look like it has to be played on higher gen to me.

WTF?! I was so looking forward to play Dream:scape, checking the appstore constantly for the past week or so, and now he tells us that it only plays on iPhone 4 and iPad 2?! That sucks. What kind of shoddy programming is that? I can understand it not working on 1st or 2nd gen devices but the iPod 4 is the latest model for crying out loud! If Epic Citaladel runs smoothly I'm sure this will run smoothly too. Hopefully the dev will do something so this will be playable on iPods too... Very dissapointed.

Well that's going to piss off a lot of people and result in a big loss of sales. Seems like a bad move by the developer.

I'm kind of glad that the game is targeted towards higher end devices. This allows the dev to push the graphical limits. Remember when games started to be 3rd gen iPod and up only? People were going nuts over that.

But then there was a new device available. I own an 4th gen iPod touch and that's the latest model, so it should be able to run the latest games as well.

The iPod 4g is a higher end device...

Sounds like the developer is as annoyed as we are about this and that he genuinely didn't realise the game would only be playable on a small number of the highest-spec devices. As an owner of a 4g iPod I can't believe that I won't be able to play this, but it seems more the fault of Epic than the dev.

Still, we've got Superbrothers Sword & Sworcery to fill the gap!

What exactly does the iPhone 4 have over the iPod Touch 4G? And how come I can run Infinity Blade just fine on my iPod Touch 4G, but not this?

iPhone 4 has 512mb ram, iPod Touch has 256mb.
    Poor forethought and programming ability.
