Local wifi supports 4 players. Bluetooth supports local multiplayer as well but not sure if the limit is 2 or 4. Check out Mini Wars for a more close Soldat look alike. DA2 has similar elements but plays quite a bit differently. crex Doctor of Game of the Week-ology Oct 18, 2010 7,679 10 0 Everywhere and Nowhere #8 crex, Apr 2, 2011 I had a great time beta testing even though I never got to play online! xdanleex Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2009 899 1 0 Procrastinating LA,CA http://www.steamcommunity.com/id/beshio #9 xdanleex, Apr 2, 2011 When will this be released? It will be free+IAP for extra better guns to give you the advantage, more skins, and other bonuses. ultimo Well-Known Member May 5, 2009 3,840 1 38 #11 ultimo, Apr 2, 2011 DA2 got its own thread, Yeah! Stride Active Member Apr 1, 2011 28 0 0 #16 Stride, Apr 3, 2011 I see that. I do think DA2 will still play great. It just reminded me of the many hours I spent playing Soldat. I'll probably end up playing DA2 a lot anyways since looks to play very well. nikhsterboi Well-Known Member Jan 6, 2010 1,549 0 0 In an Apple store near you #17 nikhsterboi, Apr 3, 2011 Free will definitely help this one, for sure! arta Well-Known Member Feb 14, 2009 6,902 1 36 #18 arta, Apr 3, 2011 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel This looks good. I was looking at the original Doodle Army, but didn't like that the controls were space out all over the place. The fact that this gameplay has been streamlined to take advantage of dual sticks is a great improvement. Boost meter mechanic is pretty cool too. I do think that the melee button should be placed above the right analog stick, or even better, have tapping anywhere on the right side of the screen = melee. That way you get rid of an onscreen button while still keeping the function. iPhoneGlobs Well-Known Member Mar 14, 2009 2,354 0 0 Software Developer #19 iPhoneGlobs, Apr 3, 2011 There are joystick controls for the original as well. Its in the options menu. arta Well-Known Member Feb 14, 2009 6,902 1 36 #20 arta, Apr 3, 2011 These vids look like they have joystick controls in them, and they look good. I still think tapping anywhere on the right screen to melee would work better instead of a button, what do you think? (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
