So you're awaiting buying that epic new game that you've been anticipating eagerly, and part of this great game takes place in a North American city. Do you care what the city is?...

The city looks like a generic metropolitan area with no landmarks and no visual distinction, but how much would the designation of what this city is matter to you; For example, would playing in city designated as being 'Toronto' feel significantly different to you, versus if the city was designated 'New York'?

I ask because there are many movies filmed in Toronto, yet it's named as an American city in the movie. I assume this is to appease audiences... so I'd like to poll opinion on this, as I'm considering the use of Toronto in an upcoming game, but if you'd rather it's an American city we would like to know.

I dont care what city is used but make it look at least a little to resemble the city it is meant to be.

I don't care where the city is. It's more important to be creative, interesting and challenging, I think.

I live in Toronto but I've never played a game set there. That would be interesting! :D
But I think as long as you make sure the virtual city actually resemble the real city, than you've done a good job!
