No, I didn't watch it. I have never seen that show. That is one of the benefits of not having a television.
Then why would you be posting in a thread about a TV show...? Is 24 even worth watching anymore? I went balls out one weekend and watched all of Season 1, started in on Season 2, and just couldn't handle watching a single episode. I don't really like the gimmick of 24, when does Jack sleep, eat, or go to the bathroom if it's 24 hours of him blowing crap up?!
You could say the same for security guards who do double shifts (I used to be one)- oh wait- they do sleep on the job don't they? Seriously, if their was a terrorist threat, it's quite easy to stay awake for 24 hours if you know the country is in danger. I haven't watched the finale yet, but I shall. I have been loving this season so far- all except Jack not being able to be his usual action-man self because of what happened a few episodes ago.
what the hell!?!?! every single person they meet is evil it just seemed like the bad guys were an onion of just random people willing to risk their lives for the ideology of some crazy dude! and then all of a sudden people turn good and everyone likes rainbows and sunshine. pisses me off
I actually like last night's finale. It was much better than last season's closer, and this one seemed to flow better even with the usual outlandish storylines. All I have to say is that airport security as portrayed in 24 was seriously lacking.
haha i was laughing for that entire scene but this episode had absolutely 0 surprises. oh well - all the other season finales this past couple weeks have been amazing
i liked a couple things about it, the president acted like a complete idiot, i would have resigned to save my daughter instead of turning her in, other than that the episode was ok, but there were not really many surprises......
Agreed on no surprises...it went down the way I expected down to Kim Bauer who seems to get worse each time she's on.
watched it before it comes out in the uk and have to say im utterly disappointed to the point where i thought the producers had lied to us and were going to kill jack off. The ending was utter garbage. Tony's multi-faced character (is he good/is he bad/is he good/ oh no hes bad again/ oh hes not so bad he just wants revenge) was abit over the top. Cant wait for the 24 film though. Will hopefully be really cool and cant wait till ctu is back next year.
Theres gonna be a film? wow, ill probably watch it, hopefully it wont have man season 1-6 tie in cuz i only seen season 7
nah it wont. there apparently only making an eighth season and instead of season nine there gonna make a three hour film. The first two hours in film time and the final hour in 24 time. Should be amazing.
think the script is but think there gonna film in tandem with season 8 as to cut the budget down. But they mentioned a few countries outside the US being involved in the action which will make it interesting. Would love to see jack venture overseas.
Kind of like what they did for this season? First part of it was a 24 2-hour TV movie called 24 Redemption or something that was set in Africa. They used it to setup some of the characters and events that lead to this season. Overall it wasn't a bad finale. The first season they actually tried to stick to the 24 hour thing, syncing together events from all over the world. Then they got a little lazy or lost their budgets or something. :shrugs:
Keifer Sutherland is only signed through next season, and so there is a possibility that Season 8 could be it for the TV part of 24, and the film would either wrap things up a bit or continue depending on how it clicks with audiences.
i think they've announced it will be the end for the tv show. thats why they're making the movie. keifer sutherland has said he doesnt want to make anymore after next season.
