Actually if anything it could be a big surprise. I think those video's ( like you say ) didn't really show how good the game could be. I think this could be one of the best releases in a long time ( Hopefully)
I highly doubt it would be one of the best games in a long time considering the games that have recently come out, plus plenty of awesome upcoming games. I'm sorry if you haven't liked anything that has been released lately, but I think this will be a good/great game; just not one of the best releases in A LONG TIME. Just my opinion!!! I will ore than likely be picking this up anyways, so it doesn't really matter to me if it's the best game in the world or not.
That's cool, we're all entitled to our opinions. My favourite game is Mc3. I don't think any game will top it this year. I was also surprised with the Dark Meadow. From what I've read and seen on Desert Zombie, along with weapons ( including Nukes) this game should be awesome. I guess we'll see.
I agree with you that this looks like an awesome game. I just didn't think it would be at the top of the food chain at the end of the year; who knows? Personally, I'm a huge fan of King of Dragon Pass, Starbase Orion, and Galaxy Pirate Adventure. MC3 is great, but there were some things that really bothered me. It's been "In Review" for three days now... can't be much longer now. Anyone know anything new about this? And does anyone know if the Apple app review staff works on weekends?
Apple's developer agreement says that all apps should be approved within 14 days. The current average is about 4 days, give or take. Check their Facebook for anything new. http://www.facebook.com/DesertZombie?sk=app_28134323652. They posted a picture of them still being in review on Thursday.
I'm itching to get this game. C'mon approve this, so we can start shooting some Zombies ! It should be out by next Thursday at the latest according to the Apple approval process.
Heres what has happened: A) The game has been approved and has a set release date that the developers specified. B) The game has been rejected. Theres an very small chance that it's still in the review process, like a .001% chance.
Well everyone know when a developer says it will be released as soon as it's approved.. what they really mean is.. Even if it gets approved on Friday we are going to hold it till Thursday when new games get released.. So chances are this game maybe will get approved sometime between now and Tuesday and be released with all the New Zealand releases Wednesday. Though hopefully I am wrong.
Lol the devs said a while ago the release date was September 1st. I don't know where they were going.
Something tells me there are problems with the game. It was submitted almost a month ago...who honestly thinks it's still waiting for approval? Either it was rejected by Apple or the developers decided not to release at this time. The latter might actually be a good thing as releasing a buggy game is not a good decision marketing-wise. Even if you patch it it will probably never sell that well due to poor first impressions/reviews. Better to wait and make it good.
After the Warm Gun debacle, its not surprising if they want to hold it back to get all the bugs out before releasing it.
According to their Facebook, it only entered the review stage Thursday before last, it was simply waiting in line beforehand. Should be out by this Thursday.
