Why would you want to play this on a small screen? This game has too much going on in order for it to be enjoyable on the iPhone. I think that the iPad is the perfect fit. Have been waiting for this for about a year now! Videos look great...
Well the developer had their promo code give away on facebook and they announced the winners today. Here's the iPad trailer I was just searching the developers page and it seems the new release date is Dec 6th(http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?569773-Towers-on-Tablets!-Defenders-of-Ardania-Unveiled-for-iPad!&)
It is out in NZ, but from the App description it seems that there are only 6 towers and 6 units If I am not wrong there were 24 of each advertized
5.50 in Australia. There is a Lite version if you want to try the demo first. It reminds me of that Two Worlds 2 tower defence game. Could it be a similar bunch of people?
Well, in this preview it says: http://forums.techieanalyst.net/f125/%5Bpreview%5D-defenders-ardania-2292/ So 3 x 8 = 24. BUT in the App Store description it says 6 towers and units. So either they changed that since the beta or the iPad version simply has less towers and units (or they are reserved for future In-App purchases?).
Hey, I played the demo today. It's a bit hard at the start, but easy enough once you get the swing of it. I guess 50% of gamers will be turned off after the first 5 minutes. It's lots of fun and very strategic. I'm not sure I like the spells that have an entire field advantage. Like reduce defence or increase attack, which have a massive impact. I recommend everyone have a go at the demo atleast to see if you like it. You only get one level, but it will take you a bit to beat it. There are no stats but and three levels of towers.
