iCloud sync would be nice. So I would have same game progress on iPhone and iPad. Restore progress from Game Center is ok but not very precise.
Hooray. I was thinking about deleting this today, but will hold off for now. Hopefully the online races run smoothly.
Will put this forward to the team EDIT: Just found out it's on the things to add list, so it's coming!
Thank you! At the moment I only play it one my iPad because I'd have to collect all the parts for the next car again when I start it on my iPhone. But I'd like to play it on the iPhone, too. They should look at the Scribblenauts sync. Their team found a good way. You don't have to manage anything, just install the game on your devices and everything just works. Thanks for putting it forward to the team and sorry for my poor english. I'm not a native english speaker but I hope you can still understand what I mean. EDIT: Good news .
Implementing multiplayer as a separate campaign: really good idea! It works wonderfully, and plays great! Looking forward to that hopefully ever-growing list of multiplayer updates, with particular hopes for multiplayer arena combat... Quite some time ago, before the coming of Duke Match, I voiced my hope for arena combat maps. Will there be more, ones that simply put us up against random enemies, like normal races? (Sorry, Duke. You just ain't what you used to be...)
Like the multiplayer dislike the DLC but maybe just this once I'll buy it as I do like the game and it's very well done. One of the few games that maybe does deserve a little more of my money.
Here's some multiplayer gameplay footage from the newest update! Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
What exactly comes with these booster packs? Obviously the flamethrower appears to come with the $0.99 booster, but what else would it get me?
Those of you who already updated, thank you! Please go ahead and post your impressions of restricted Multiplayer campaign to this thread. We already have pretty solid plans for complete Multiplayer Campaign release, but we are open for suggestions and hearing your ideas! Things coming up: - Full set of cars to unlock in MP Campaign - Full set of weapons to unlock in MP Campaign - Battle Modifiers: Rewards your great performance in races - New Achievements! See you in race!
You get a multiplier boost for points earned during the single player campaign. The higher boost packs give you higher multipliers; x1.5 (150%), x3 (300%) and x10 (1000%) for the most expensive. It's basically a quicker way to progress through the campaign. The higher multiplier you have to quicker you can upgrade your weapons and cars using those points. Once you have a booster purchased you'll see a V.I.P badge with the multiplier amount you have (ie x1.5), tapping that will boost/multiply your total point reward by that amount. Hope all that helps
Thanks! It does help. I wish there was a way on the AppStore to figure this stuff out, unless I am missing something. So does the flamethrower come with the $0.99 multiplier? It does seem weird to tie it into the quicker way to progress in the game. I haven't even played the version I won when it was first released, so it will be a while before I get the IAP, if I do.
Would there be a way to unlock the MP Campaign stuff in single player (even though that would defeat the purpose of MP Campaign unlockables)? Multiplayer only modes work great only when others are playing.. One of my favorite games, M. Bug Panic has barely anyone playing multiplayer nowadays.. =/ It kind of reminds me of situations for games like The World Ends with You or Dragon Quest IX on the Nintendo DS, which had multiplayer modes..but, at least where I live in the US, no one really takes public transportation and finding people for multiplier modes is pretty impossible. I think it got bad enough for a game like DQIX, so Nintendo actually held some DQIX events at shopping centers/Best Buy so people with the game can actually connect to others so we can unlock some items and other things.
Smooth as silk. No problems with multiplayer except connecting to it and waiting for other players. (public wifi Los Angeles Ca.)
