The game will probably release on Thursday, because, at least how I understand it, Thursday is when apple chooses the game of the week, and that gets the game to sell a ton better. The original cod zombies on iPod was only 50 mb, and that was relatively large as survival games go, look at undead: in the last refuge, it only had one map, and was around 5 mb, if a game is optimized and trimmed and the code is the most streamline it can be, the storage space requires as well as memory usage can be reduced significantly.

Exactly right about the thursday release.
The app store gets refreshed every Thursday so if a developer wants a chance at game of the week or hot new releases, they release on Thursday.
With reference to the size of the app, Shadowgun takes up 349mb on my iPad and it released last September.
It's only natural that Madfinger has improved their development of any game (which was good anyway) and improved the efficiency of the Unity engine (which is extremely efficient space wise anyway).
I would guess 100mb is the compressed file size anyway. Either way, it's very good news for people who are low on space.
Plus, Full Effects will be present on the iPad 3. Not confirmed for iPhone 4s and iPad 2 but the chances are high. And they are not exclusive Tegra developers, they don't get paid or sponsored by Nvidia, they just work together as a form of promotion for both companies.

Plus, all of this info has been posted previously on this thread by both Madfinger and from legitimate sources so it would be nice if people would actually get their facts right and read a little or do some research before making unsupported or downright wrong statements on posts.

They came, they see, they never answer...
I cannot understand why did it this time like this... they said a generic end of June and they leave it from that point to anyone to imagine anything...
I think with big hit games like this must give an exact date...
Even if it is not tomorrow why they don't say to us, when?
I am start thinking if they experiment with a new marketing style... ''Let the rumors enlarge the hype''...

good reflection, but i think that the development is very complex because of multiple supports versions, bugs and delay is this impossible for them to give a date for not disappoint the fans.^^

I still think its Thursday release. The marketing thing of not declaring the date and just teasing it is definitely building up some hype.

Maybe you are right and the whole point this time is that they want to release across all the os platforms the same day...

Exactly... that's why it seems a little bit strange that they don't say anything this time.

That's exactly what I was thinking. MadFinger is a clever team. I'm sure they know what they are doing.

About this whole 100mb file size thing. IMO, it really doesn't make that much of a difference. As Madfinger has mentioned, even if it's a little bit larger. Should be an outstanding game.

Cod zombies comes to mind. I believe it runs around 50mb ( could be mistaken ) but the game looks good has 4 maps, 2 of those maps are very large ( Shi no numa, Der Riese) and the game runs very smooth. Compared to BO Zombies which takes up 800 mb and graphically doesn't look that much better. Infact I believe, imo, that Cod zombies runs smoother for gameplay, multiplayer than BO zombies.

Therefore even if Dead Trigger is relatively small in file size, should still kick butt !!

Madfinger is extremely good at optimization !!

No kidding — shadowgun ran at a decent framerate on my ancient touch 4...no concerns about optimization. I just want co-op!
