I logged into the new wireless Ruckus system at work yesterday with my jailbroken iPhone 3g. I did a little work online with it and then put it into sleep/standby mode and set it on my desk. A few hours later I picked it up, it was on fire hot and would not turn on ... eventually I guess the battery went dead because nothing I could do would turn it on ..... I tried all the usual tricks (holding the power button and home button) .... no good. iTunes doesn't recognize it nor does DiskAid. I tried charging it overnight .... still nothing. So I'm thinking that it's officially dead .... by what cause .... hmmmm .... I fear maybe the Ruckus system was messing with my location services but I'm no geek and don't understand what made it turn on and get hot but ... here's my dilema .....

It's only 6 months old and still under warranty .... if I take it to Apple Store will they be able to figure out that it was jailbroke? Of course they would have to get it working to know that it was jailbroken and then I'd at least have a working iPhone again. But if they can't get it working then I'm probably safe and may get a new iPhone. I don't care about having a "new" iphone .... I just want my iPhone back.

    What should I do?

    Thanks!

fire hot? some of the components inside must of melted when this happened, which means there's no way in hell itll turn back on, so your safe from them figuring out it was jailbroken.
