No, it really is. Good character designs are key in making any sort of connection to the avatar whose actions you control. And these designs stink - the jock-hipster hybrids of the world can all be consumed in the zombie apocalypse.

You are not asking a question: you are expressing an opinion in a really douchey way (kind of ironic, don't you think?). Just because you don't like the main character it doesn't mean that it's badly designed.
Awesome! Can't wait to play this Yeah I agree. Nobody should start complaining that they don't like the look of the player at this point. If anything ask for multiple playable characters
He or she can complain all they want, it's a free country. What irked me is pretending the complaint was legitimate feedback to the developer -- as if the character design would actually be radically changed to please his or her taste/prejudices.
