So did a better save system ever get put in place with the update? EDIT: God what an awesome game though, I just played a few missions and love it.
...Aaaaaaaaaand finished. The regular story game at least. I wish it had a better ending to give the ending a bit more meat, but the whole game is fantastic overall. Will be playing through New Game Plus next.
First of all, thank you guys for all your kind words! We're really lucky to have such great fans. Second, here’s the promised news about Dead Effect’s update 1.2 for Android and iOS! We‘re adding a lot of new features into the game, so we decided to divide the news into four separate parts. In this first part we’d like to tell you a little about the changes that will make the game suitable even for those who think it’s a bit too hard at the moment. The new content includes: 1. When creating a new game, players will be able to choose between: • Turning autoheal ON or OFF (if purchased) • Turning auto-aim ON or OFF • Turning auto-shoot ON or OFF (includes automatic reload) • Four different difficulty settings – easy, medium, hard and nightmare 2. We added a new LOOT system, which will increase the chance of finding something unique during gameplay. That way players will be able to get various items while playing the single player campaign or game mods. • Credits (from now on players will be able to find more credits as they play, which can be spent on upgrades or new weapons) • Gold Bars (new and unique in-game currency) • Weapon Patent (unlocks a weapon without upgrades, so players will no longer need to buy it) • Golden Weapon Patent (unlocks a weapon including upgrades) • Golden Gift (a combination of two things) We sincerely hope that you’ll all like these changes. Keep checking back for more news about upgrade 1.2.
Happy about future updates, but some things reminded me stuff that I've seen in dead trigger 2...that's NOT necessarily a bad thing as long as it improves the overall experience of the gameplay!Really wait to see the other future updates...(btw the "ULTRA" setting that I have mentioned before it would be nice to see some improvements in the lightning...it's either way the 50% of the experience in this type of games...atmosphere...more tense!
You'll get to know what very soon We'll be giving out info on Golden Bars in one of the later news updates. Yes? Kind of yes, but also no. I assume you mean the DT2 Blueprints? True, they are similar, but the major difference here is that while the DT2 Blueprints unlock a certain part of a weapon, our Patterns unlock the entire thing. This means that if you find a Pattern in the game (SP or survival), it will unlock one weapon from the shop without upgrades. If you find a Golden Pattern, it will unlock a weapon with all of the upgrades, so you won't have to upgrade it anymore, it'll be maxed out. The point of these Patterns is to make the game less of a credit grind and more fun. If you find a pattern, you will simply unlock a weapon right away without having to buy it with credits.
I think EP's "er..." Was because things sounded a bit freemium-y. But you vowed no IAP so we don't have anything to worry about.... Right?
In all honesty, everything else you typed came out as, "Blah, blah, blah, blah..." Ho-lee CRAP, that is a sweet change. I'm guessing the odds of finding them are pretty low (understandably), but talk about replay value... He-llooo loot drops! DBC
