I have spent about $17 on the app store *shocked faces all round* and I have about 68 games on my iPhone (and almost none of them are free games). I probably would have spent about $80 if it weren't for promos and FAAP.
I think I must have played over 500 iPhone games by now, I don't wanna know how much I've spent. A lot came from promos and whatnot though so hopefully that takes away some of the sting. Spent nothing on music.
It's not that much, when you put it in perspective. Most major console games these days cost $60, so assuming you have at least 10 of those it comes to almost double what you've spent on the app store.
I know, and I wish I had the money in my hands right now - would spend it on something else. But yeah, I've been there since the first iPhone and App Store launch (awesome days by the way).
I have enough money, but I'm kinda on an "app-fast" right now, just so I can be sure to have enough spare dosh lying around to buy something this summer (*hint* sig *hint* )
People who ,actually, care about good quality audio as much as possible in a media player. I have also spent a lot of money I thin I am over 400$
When I make my album, I would feel pissed if people download it ilegaly and free, I respect authors rights so I pay for listening the work of others.
But, you would truly have to be stupid to pay $60 for a game considering the sales that can be found everywhere. So it's not $60, but still more...
I meant assuming you buy on launch day. If you wait long enough, you can probably get most games for $15-$20.
...and people who, actually, know about good quality audio generally avoid iTunes like the plague. I'll take V0 any day, failing that 320, FLAC if I'm burning to CD but... I don't really do that. If you make an album I'll buy it directly from you, but I don't wanna pay you pennies through a record company
