Deleted and reinstalled. Same result. No toggle for vibration. Very strange. They must have it set incorrectly for the 3GS.

Anyone else playing on a 3GS have the same issue?

There is a movie, I think it's called crazy taxi, if I remember rightly its quite funny bordering on ridiculous.

That really sucks if they overlooked that on the 3gs's. I probably guess that within a year or so devs will stop supporting that device. These are the perils of the apple Eco system. 2-3 year life cycles

I probably wouldn't mind if the vibration wasn't so frequent. But in this game -- and maybe this is just me -- it's annoying to the point where I can't enjoy it. Personally think the default should be the vibration off anyway. Not having a choice about it really does suck.

Android and windows ecosystems are even worse in that regard. Id say its more correct to say its the perils of anything dealing with tech, and in this instance phones specifically.

Game keeps crashing on my iPad 1 :( Only the Crazy Box seems to work, as soon as I want to start an Arcade or Original game the game crashes. I wish companies would mention it if their games do not work on certain devices. I did restart my device, did not help. I have 956 MB space left. Would love to hear if anyone got this to work on an iPad 1.

It does work on my 3GS, though it does have some trouble, sometimes (I rebooted here as well, and have plenty of space left), and that's a pity with a speed game like this. I LOVE that it has the original soundtrack. Never really got into the XBLA version and now I realize that that really was mostly because of the soundtrack indeed.

I also don't have the vibration setting switch on my 3GS. I actually assume that that's just a bug/oversight that will be fixed. Don't assume Sega is reading here, but you never know.

I was so excited about Jet Set Radio for IOS, but I'm afraid I will not be able to play that :( Crazy Taxi is a lot of fun, but JSR is my favorite game ever.

How easy is it to do the special moves like the drift/jump/dash/etc with the touchscreen controls?

Touch and tilt are both very responsive, you can really enjoy this game on your touch device!

I think the problem might just be with the city....The final challenge in crazy box involves the city, and that crashes on launch as well...and it crashes when it comes to the credits...could someone confirm that is set in the city?

I'll re-download it and re-install, see if theres any problem there...it's just the fact that the crashing is happening on first gen iPads is making me worried

Surprised that you're having trouble as far as it running on your 3GS. It runs pretty smooth for me.

As far as the vibration thing, I went into my phone settings and fixed it for now. Never realized there are two vibration settings in the iPhone "Sounds" screen -- one for when it's completely silent (ie., with the toggle switch on your phone is in the down position) and one for everything else.

Since a lot of times I do some gaming without sound, I found that even if you set the volume all the way down to zero with the toggle switch up, it still does not vibrate if that second vibrate setting is set to Off.

I really don't care too much about vibration in any iOS game so that's fine by me. And I still get the vibration when I put the outside toggle down in the office so I don't get yelled at for my phone ringtone going off.

Don't know why Sega missed this, but at least I can play it now without all the vibrating going on.

    Hmm, the game is weird...
The main mode crashed, so i decided to go and play some Crazy Box challenges. After that, i tried playing the main mode, and it worked!
    But...
After a game over and trying to play again, it crashed.

The touch controls are way more responsive than the tilt here. I definitely recommend that.
Great retro classic! Just like I remember on the ol' Dreamcast! I'm loving it!

Guess it's preference. I thought for sure I'd use the touch controls, but tried the tilt a little while ago and was surprised at how well it worked. Also seems to make it much easier to do drifts.
