So let me get this straight, you have an obvious deficiency in drawing that borders on full-retard, and you expect that someone with any amount of skill should respect this and draw you a ****ing dinosaur, something that every goddam child that was ever born has drawn at least 30 million times during their stint in 2nd grade. That is possibly the longest sentence I have ever written, and it barely begins to glean the surface of your blatant ineptitude. I seriously do not understand how you feel deserving of respect, when you obviously show disrespect toward art, as if anyone can just pull a dinosaur out of their ass. Pay someone $10 or $20 to create something for you, they at least deserve that.
You try and draw a stagosaurus, Its harder than it looks. And if you read properly I didn't need high quality art, a simple doodle would suffice.
If it's a simple doodle, you can do it. In fact, I think Flickitty's right, any kid could do it. Flickitty's a professional artist, so I doubt he'd have any problems drawing one.
I watched some movie as a kid where savages killed the stegosaurus, since then I've been traumatized :
I know you don't need high quality art, which is exactly my point. A second grader could do this, which pretty much puts it into the category of 'things that are NOT harder to draw than they look". I've been drawing proficiently for 35 years. I do not uphold the idea that my work could be or would be better than yours- I just happen to have more confidence than you. The stegosaurus that you think you will be using is very likely clip art (the person that posted it did not create it). You could have just gone that route from the beginning, and probably could have found much better samples to use if you had just looked. Timo is highly amusing. Seeing that drawing makes me miss my Tablet PC. What was used to draw that, Timo? Just a standard wacom tablet?
Flickitty, I use Wacom Intuos 3 tablet (A4 size is perfect for my drawing habits, I don't want anything larger or smaller) and Photoshop. Couple of years ago I used Wacom Cintiq 21UX which lets you draw directly on the screen but I gotta say I prefer Intuos series to Cintiqs - Cintiq kills my wrist because of the angle. I originally bought iPhone as a sketchbook, but it wasn't an amazing drawing experience with the almost finger sized Pogo stylus lol I have high hopes for iPad though
Cute...Google Images search + removing "©2000 Niel Riehle" + flipping image + Photoshop filter + 2 seconds of time = getting people in legal trouble. --Eric
Don't say I didn't warn you. By the way, the "submission" before that looks to be using the same exact line art, in case you haven't noticed... The pose is completely identical.
