I liked playing queen's Crown, but I don't like Com2us's greediness. I shouldn't have to pay an extra $7 to get functionality that should've been there from the start.
IAPs should be optional, but Com2us wouldn't listen. They don't realize how these things can hurt their games. Look at Angry Birds' Mighty Eagle as an example, now that's something totally worth paying for. I would be more than willing to pay for a one-time unlimited skill resets, with a cooldown or something. Instead they want us to spend $2 each time for a respec. I am still looking forward to Inotia 3 because I did enjoyed the second one quite a bit. But there's no way in hell I will pay so much for the IAPs this time.
Yes I totally agree, IAP can serious deter the full enjoyment of the game-especially when the IAPs are half the cost of the app! I'd rather developers charge more for the app and allow full functionality. IAPs should only appeal to those who want to fasttrack and are lazy to achieve things the hard way. It's about 5pm now and I'm desperately waiting for inotia 3 here in canada! What country/AppStore gets it first?
Will the american beta testers get there gift cards later than the new zealanders or at the same time?
Hahaha, its all good, only reason I know it off hand is because I lived there for 15 years, and still have friends/family that live there, so I gotta keep track to make sure I don't call them at midnight for them
Pocketgamer claims it's out in the NZ app store http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Inotia+3%3A+Children+of+Carnia/news.asp?c=26447
