Yes, the timer countdown works to up to 100 coins when you're away, this is to make sure all our players will always have at least 100 coins to play with . On a side note, unlike other games with such cooldown timers, while you're active playing the game, the amount of free coins given will have no limits!, no matter how many coins you have, as long as you're playing, it will continue to give you free coins! Loving the game, thanks so much! Game Center acheivements aren't registering for me though.
