Tbh, if I made a video right now it wouldn't change your mind, but that's because none of the really cool stuff is finished yet. Yes, previous testers would get priority. I can't reveal the publisher yet, but will keep you posted.
We decided to make some smaller games first to get some revenue going. But we'll get back to the platformer (Locks and Loaded) asap. Nope
please have the arrows stay in the people its just satisfying seeing them walking towards me full of arrows lol
Hi all, I have added some new screens and info to the first post. The game has been submitted to Apple. I decided to keep the beta private (only some people I know tested it) because I wanted to release as soon as possible due to Apple's new ToS which may or may not ban Unity-based games. Would love to hear what you guys think of the screenshots!
Doh! I didn't even know about that game... I will check it out asap and let you know what the differences are. EDIT : okay, I played it for a little while. While the basic premise is the same (shoot arrows), the games feel a lot different. Pandamania has the different levels going for it, which is something I am planning to add in an update if the game is successful enough. Robin of Locksley has a larger scrolling area, the aiming is handled differently, you have to protect multiple huts instead of one tower, it has infinite gameplay... Still similar, but I think there's enough room in the app store (and possibly on your device) for both
Hope that's enough to convince you I thought I had a unique concept here - I've seen lots of bow shooting games in Flash where you just have to aim for something, and I thought I would combine it with castle defense type games a bit. But apparantly, (almost) everything has been done already, so it comes down to how well it's executed and if it plays well. Personally I think I have done a good job on this, but we'll see what the gamers think.
