I'm wondering whether, since this app runs in real time does it use the ipod clock? If so,when you run out of time to pay the mob boss couldn't you just change your clock to be 3 or 4 days behind?

I guess not...at least the review didn't say anything about it... Probably the only reason for me not to buy it... In a way you're somehow forced to play it...but maybe getting 50.000 a week isn't that hard...
[RANT] It seems the App Store has completely ruined some peoples sense of value I can hardly get a decent Latte at a local Café for $4.99 and think of the work that goes into games like these. Sure we all want to get things cheap, but let's at least be realistic about it. $4.99 is pocket change - what other gaming platform (including most other mobile phones) give you games like this for $4.99 ??? [/RANT] OK, back to topic - this looks really great, but until they allow you to turn of the real-time "feature" it's not for me - don't have time to play that much all the time.

thanks to the almighty!! just read the appgamer review. the only point i'm sceptical about is this time frame to pay your mobs. I hope it's not too hard, since that would be a fun killer for me... if you dont pay in time, you have to begin ALL over again?
For those concerned about the real time aspect and paying Frankie his $50k a week and the time that takes don't be... You get around $1000 for delievering each stolen car to the dock. If you get stuck thats 50 cars which would take even a crap game player like me about 20 mins. So in 20 -30mins play a week you can make your quota - unless you are REALLY bad at the game!!!! P
Don't try to be smart, they have released promo codes for this game to the press, and I, for one, have received a code to redeem to enjoy it before you do. Ah, the joy
Well look what made its way onto my iphone a little while ago..... Before all the posts asking how I got it, I won a promo code the other week and got it today so was able to download it. Quick impressions - The controls are brilliant, using virtual buttons is way more precise than using the accelerometer anyday of the week, they are nice and smooth. The music is simply amazing, I have never heard of any of these artists before and they are all so far top notch, the music really adds to the atmosphere. The missions are well varied so far and everytime I have turned it off then on again I have been met with a different misson so there is a wide variety to go through. oh and before I forget..... Will be about the only time in the games history im going to be number one!! So yes there are online leaderboards, im sure I wont be so lonely up there in a few hours!!
