I'm pretty sure they can't do that. It's just a number specific to each iDevice that identifies the device. Mostly it's used by beta testers to only allow specific devices to play the beta game. From my understanding of what it does, it's not going to be used to hack you anytime soon.
Yeah, they may be able to target a specific device, but it's not like a key to the inner-working of the device.
