nice!!!!! i really dont care what the price is becasue i love the game...i really would have paid 10 if they wanted me too...but im the minority...i dont have an xbox or ps3...so $7 is not really a lot
While I'm a huge fan of the Call of Duty games, I really have to agree. The best games were the early ones, back in World War II, when the game wasn't a huge game that every single person who had a console was playing. I wish they could go back to that, but they have such a huge following of kids who shouldn't even be playing these games in the first place and nerds who sit online all day and play it that it's never going to happen... I miss COD2:Big Red One... [/sorta rant]
Thanks for the news about the new map Vinny554. It would be great to see this game come to other handheld consoles like DS or PSP as well.
Don't know about the DS, but I have yet to play an FPS in the PSP that wasn't an exercise in frustration. Aiming with the face buttons is for the birds.
If it's an exact copy of Verruckt, (which it is) then it will have that stuff. I still haven't read from a reliable source that it's coming on Friday.
Oh god, FPS's on the DS suck big time, it's incredibly un-co using the stylus to look and the D-pad to move, whilst also using the buttons on the right for jumping/crouching/reloading and using the shoulder buttons to fire at the same time. Totally phucked.
There is no way I'm going to pay 6 bucks just for a new map, when we only have 1 map to start with. There's no leaderboards, there's no chat functionality, there's no friends list, what's the use of this update?
I've never had an issue playing FPS's on my DS. I've played almost through the entire games of both Call of Duty 4 and COD: World at War without a problem. I've even paly WaW online a bit on my DS and no control issues. They actually felt comfortable to me. Dementium was the same for me, no prob. PSP on the other hand... AAAAHHHH!!!! Trying to aim with the buttons is a HUGE pain. Despite this, I think MoH: Heroes pulled it off pretty well under the circumstances, but was much easier to play on the Wii.
To be honest, I don't think this is so overpriced. Of course $5 was a much more reasonable price but hey, it's just an extra buck. I love Nazi Zombies one my iPod and I love the one map they gave us. I won't be picking this extra map up immediately on Friday, since I only have about $12.50 in my account and I'm looking forward to Assassin's Creed II. However, in a week or two I'll definitely check it out.
AC2 offers a full game for 10 bucks...all this will offer is 1 map for 6 bucks!!I hope this game doesn't start a trend in the app store.As much as i hate game developers being forced to sell quality games for $1 ....i hate big name developers releasing half baked and/or incomplete games for 10 bucks and calling it a wonderful bargain!!I hope this doesn't start a new trend!!
