Crisis Core is the reason why most people have a PSP. It's been the top selling RPG on the device since debut. I'm pretty sure I know RPGs and FF7:CC is the best there is on any handheld platform.
I know some people love it. I found it to be the gaming equivalent of a Rob Liefield comic book, all flash and no substance. It managed to combine the lack of strategy of an action RPG with the potential for tediousness of a turn-based RPG -- a perfect storm of suck. My point is that the standard "iPhone games don't rate compared to PSP game" narrative depends on everyone agreeing that the PSP is actually good. That's not the case with Crisis Core. I much, much preferred Chaos Rings. backtothis: I can think of many, many handheld RPGs that are better than Crisis Core. And I'm pretty sure I know RPGs, too.
You think it's better than both chaos rings and the new ds ff game that just came out with old school gameplay or the ff4 remake?
Guys, dead space for iPad might have more of a console experience than either infinity blade or Rage.
