Whew... sorry for the silence this past week, we've all been doing the Thanksgiving thing with family and all that (and still getting things ready for the 3rd round ). Generally speaking, game progress is going great, we'll post some more screens soon. Round 3 should be coming very soon as well...

Hey guys sorry I haven been following thread, but this looks very fun wow :O bug heroes - i never imagined could look so amazing, and the way the heroes look is very nice - I cant wait to slaughter bugs with my bug hero PS this could put a whole new spin on DOOM (the bug spray) adverts I just want to ask how much will this cost ? I want to make sure I have enough istore credit when it comes out ? (I apologise if this has already been asked, but I haven been following, I recently heard about the game :/ )
Yes, we will most likely do an NYZ 2, but that will be sometime in the future. We already have a lot of cool ideas for that game @ theunis Glad you're excited! We will most likely price the game at $1.99-$2.99.
Well, it has to be CALLED N.Y.Zombies 2 just so we can build off the success of the first. But there are a lot of explanations for why the name could be that without taking place in New York (for ex the "zombie crisis" began in NY). But anyway, would rather not discuss a game that isn't even being created yet Let's save that for later As for Bug Heroes... we're starting to push it into overtime trying to get it out the door -- we want Round 3 of beta to feel pretty close to release, so thats why its taking a bit longer. We also already have some awesome plans and ideas for future updates, so I'd like to point out that the game will definitely be supported after release

I just cannot wait to kick some bug ass. I've always wondered what it would like to be a bug, and now I get to experience it in the front line..... Cannot wait for the third round. I have got $9AUD ready for when the game comes out, not buying anything else until it does.
From the sounds of things there is going to be a lot of support for this game after release to keep the content fresh and hot.
Yeah, unlike N.Y.Zombies (lots of mistakes made in that game -- being our first one and all ), Bug Heroes was built from the ground up with expandability in mind. More weapons, more levels, more enemies, more heroes, more achievements, etc... As most of whats left is simply menu screens and optimizations, we have in fact already started creating future content
Is there anyway I can participate in the beta test please? Ive been looking forward to this game since the announcement, cant wait to play it. Any estimation on the release date?
We're glad to hear that you're excited! Unfortunately the beta is now closed, and is in fact on the last round of testers... which is somewhat good news because that means that we are that much closer to release As for a release date, unfortunately around this season (longer acceptance times, more games being submitted), when Bug Heroes actually hits the app store is just as much Apple's decision then ours... they don't even review games for the entire Christmas week. That being said we are going to try and get it submitted later this month, so realistically we're looking at an early 2011 release... if we're really lucky we may even see it by Christmas, but I doubt it.
