There is online multiplayer, according to TouchGen's Hands-on. http://www.touchgen.net/brothers-in-arms-2-global-front-1st-look
I thought it looks just as good, if not better than Modern Combat. Imagine the gameplay mechanics of Modern Combat (with iron sights, melee, etc) with a cover system like Terminator Salvation (it switches from 1st person to 3rd person when behind cover), and the graphics of NOVA, with a Jungle environment (the level shown in the video) similar to the jungle level of NOVA, only WW2 themed. Some extra info incase you missed any: - 3-6 hours of gameplay (16 levels) across six different play environments - the Pacific, North Africa, Italy, Normandy, Germany, and Ardennes. - Will be released with online multiplayer. - Co-op multiplayer. - Better effects/graphics for 3GS/3rd Gen iPod Touch. - Will be released mid february for $6.99.
To be honest, it looks really choppy. I would've preferred the over-the-shoulder view; keeps the Brother in Arms feel to it.
Gfx are amazing.......Seems like this will have the best elemenst of all other gameloft FPS games. But i am kinda disappointed they didn't make a TPS.
Well the poor framerate is due to the video quality. The original framerate was lost when the video was recorded, reduced by Youtube, then reduced by someone else who copied the video from TouchGen. The game is also being played on a iPhone 2G, and the game isn't finished - this is probably a beta version. I'm sure it will run smoothly on all devices, judging from the performance of MC: Sandstorm and NOVA.
