    Game Impressions

Just purchased this game yesterday afternoon. It's worth a purchase for any fan of retro games. The concept is simple and the gameplay is addictive. Also, the music is really awesome, just great chiptunes ... Something about this game reminds me of playing on my Atari Lynx back in the day, it would have been well-suited for that device I think. :)

I'll buy anything this dev makes. Unify is the most perfect iPhone puzzle game there is, and anybody who could create that deserves my patronage. This looks great, too.

This game is pretty cool. Simple, pick-up and play style. I love the "A" music. For whatever reason though the achievements don't work for me; I've done some of the stuff in the description, and they don't unlock.

Bought this game also a few days ago and I really love it. I checked out what the dev also made and came to Unify which is for me the best puzzle game on the appstore.

I am liking Unify a bit better than Bitpilot, but they are both really great games.

Hey, I have a suggestion about the visuals in this game. I don't like how the increased size of the asteroids doesn't make them more complex, it just makes the pixels bigger. I think that looks kinda ugly. I also think there should be more versions of the asteroids, so that there's some variation.
    That's just a suggestion.

Don't now how long you've lasted but there are different colored and sized asteroids in the later stages, as well as asteroids that change sizes.

I know that, but they always have the same pixel configuration, it doesn't change. Making some more pixel configurations would make the game look nicer.

I think that's just part of the retro style and I happen to like it. This game doesn't need "improved visuals" IMHO. I think it looks great as is.

Well this flew completely under my radar. I don't know if this is the sort of thing I'd normally be interested in, but Unify is one of my favorite iPhone games, so I'm already sold on this one.

I've never tried Unify, but the video of this one got me. I LOVE all these dodging-games (Tilt to Live, Space Ninja, ...) and this one will probably stay with the others on my phone for quite a long time ;)

Gosh, I totally missed that this was by the same guy who did Unify - from concept to execution possibly the most perfect game on the device. So I went and got this as well. And you guys are right. Still not really my kind of game, but the quality is blindingly apparent. This guy has some serious talent.

Whoa thanks guys for all the nice words. I guess i need to figure out how to cross-promote my stuff :)

Yeah this is definitely a different type of game than unify. more targeted towards hardcore retro gamers, wheras unify was more of a casual puzzle experience.

Also, in case you guys are interested (in the spirit of cross promotion) I made an app a while ago, before unify called synthPond, which is more of a electroplankton inspired sound toy / instrument. There's a pretty full-featured lite version. www.synthpond.com (sorry to be advertising!)

To those of you with achievement submission issues, I'm working on solving that, hopefully an update really soon.

So I decided to pick this up since it was receiving such praise, and although the controls take some getting used to, I do like the game a lot. I wish the icon had a bit of color or something though.

Got all three, love all three!
synthPond is the famous Reactable in your pocket, really hot.
And Unify is pure perfection! Really. It blew me away when the colorful background pics and the female voice appeared, such a huge impact!
So, I can safely say, I will buy every single bit (literally) from you :)

I'm getting fairly annoyed with this game.

As more people play I'm seeing my rank plummet as you guys get better and better! :(

The only additions I'd like to see are

an increase in sensitivity for the thrust controls (I rarely use the single finger control as it's much too slow for me)

and flip screen! It was my major request for Unify as well since I play on an iPhone and end up covering the headphone port and speaker with my hands while playig both games.

I've never dabbled in any music apps, but I will check out synthpond.

As for Bit Pilot, I must say I am enjoying it more than Tilt to Live. One of the several reasons why: thumb swiping > tilting, in my case. Although I had to stop after like 10 games straight because my thumbs were getting sore. I'm not that old (less than 30) but I have had a touch of arthritis since I was a kid. An option to increase sensitivity (one game that did this kind of thing well is Eco-Punk) would be a really nice feature.

Anyhow, I am loving this one, it has the same attention to presentation that made Unify so phenomenal. I love the ability to unlock music...really cool concept. And I do enjoy that music, by the way. Just an extremely well done game, very fun and addictive and enjoyable to look at and listen to.

I checked out Space Ninja....man, it's $6. Kind of found myself surprised by that.

This game is a great deal at a dollar. I'm definitely not disappointed and the dev has really followed one of the class games in the appstore with another gem here.

I also picked this up as soon as I found it you also developed Unify :D

I'm glad I did, very nice game. No complaints about the controls either. I'm glad there is a 2 thumb setup, instead of just a simple one finger drag (like in Spirit).

Would there be any chance you'll be adding more tracks to Bit Pilot?
