Jeeezus..Insane..Lol I've noticed I haven't been aiming for achievements lately..I have plenty of OF games that have achievements to unlock, but I'm meh about it. I topped out around 22k
I'm going to be honest: I didn't read anything on the game at all. All I saw was "bullet" and "dodging" in the same sentence... and that's all I needed to download it. And so far that was a fantastic decision. This game is crazy fun. I'm loving it so much
This is one of, if not my very favorite iphone games now. Definitely deserves front page love on toucharcade. I heard about it from a few people on neogaf and its really good. The music is amazing, and I love the leveling up and music unlocking and stuff that is in the game.
glad you guys like it!! Zincous, here are the achievements. There are only 650 points so that I have points to distribute when I drop updates for the game
One update i would like, is to make the asteroids, etc. spawn farther away from the game play area. If you are hanging out on the far left or right side sometimes they spawn right next to your ship and there's almost no chance to avoid them. If you designed it this way so that it's better to stay in the middle then that's ok I guess, but it seems like they should spawn as far off screen as possible to me.
hahaha.. yeah you're definitely supposed to hang out away from the edges.. I wanted to make them dangerous so that if you have to go there for a pill you know you need to get out of there as soon as possible... so asteroids won't spawn on top of you, but they don't give you much time to get out of there unless you're already on your way. I'll think about it though thanks for the suggestion!
This game is really fun and fast paced. The 1.0.1 update broke the game for me, though. It just hangs on the loading screen and crashes. edit: nevermind, I just restarted and it works fine. Everybody should get this game right now.
Just had a neat idea: -what if there were a cumulative score for each country (US,Europe,etc...) and a total cumulative score for the world Got the idea from Noby Noby Boy on PS3.
Also wanted to add that it is neat that as you gain shields, they also make the ships area to be hit bigger, and when you have no shields you are able to weave in and out of meteors better.
The music in this game is excellent but I've run into a problem that I have with every game I play a lot: After a while, even the best must in games gets tiresome (for me, at least). Would it be possible to include an option to turn music off (and/or play one's own music) but keep the sound effects? This is a relatively minor issue in a really good game. Just wondering. Keep up the good work, devel!
@zztfox glad you like the shield mechanic That is a neat idea about continental combined scores. I'll look into what needs to get done to work that out. @Guise In fact there is an option to turn of the music or sound effects separately (it's in system options outside of the app), but for some reason it still cuts of ipod music when you have the music off... even though it's not supposed to. I'm investigating

Bit Pilot is absolutely fantastic!" -CreativeApplications.net ---------------------------------------------- Bit Pilot was created by Zach Gage (SpellTower, Halcyon, Unify, SynthPond) and has music by the prolific chiptune artist Sabrepulse. Bit Pilot uses an intuitive and unique control scheme unlike anything you've tried before. Each thumb swipe on the screen adds the force of that swipe to your ship. Control with one thumb for small motions, and use two at once in the same direction for quick movements, or two in different directions for precision. Its difficult to explain, but extremely intuitive and precise once you try it. Check out the videos on bitpilotgame.com.
