Best Stephen King book?

    I was planning on getting this a few months back. Just never can fully commit to a book.

    It's a good book, but I found it somewhat tedious at times*. I have huge problems with repetition, and it just seemed too familiar, too much like The Stand. I felt like I pretty much had everything pegged very early on, and that was a disappointment, but I still enjoyed the read. IIRC, UTD was started around the same time as The Stand was, but just finished "recently".

    * Or so I thought. I had no idea what tedious WAS until I started reading Duma Key.

    I'm an avid reader as well (believe it or not) and I agree with that.
    Only ones I've liked by King were the Bachman Books, particularly the Running Man (the Long Walk was good too)

    Yep, by far my favorite of King's books.
