Its a pity we can only pick one. And that you only picked the oscar films as there are other notable films not there. Like Hangover for instance. I voted Avatar as it was my favourite if I could only pick one, but really its Avatar, district 9 and UP.

I found I liked inglourious, a lot more the second time I saw it. The character of Colonel Landa is just ridiculously well written, and makes the movie a treat for dialouge fans. I also find that tarantino really blurs the line between intentionally campy/cheesy and contrived cliche's. I never know when the man is trying to hard, or intentionally making the movie appear to try to hard. Which in a way, adds another subtle layer of genius
So annoyed that I have not watched AVATAR yet. It's only 3D in our cinema and I am half blind in one eye so it all looks weird. I'll have to wait till it comes out on DVD. All my friends say it's amazing. Other than that I would have to go with District 9. Such an original story with a good balance of plot and action. Mad
