You should NOT play while walking. There a tons of accidents report where people got run over by cars, stumbled over something and broke their legs or walked off a ledge / train platform while texting etc. How about listening to some music or audiobooks or language courses etc.?
Strange as it is, but he mentioned that he doesn't listen to music on his Ipod. Playing while walking seems pretty uncomfortable to me, but I think that Tower Defense games might be playable, because you don't need to focus all the time, they're not fast paced and it's easy to pause the game.
Haha, I don't know, I have this strange power that allows me to play whilst walking. I used to do it with books as well, when I was younger. I am sort of looking ahead, but out of the corner of my eye, and I can still concentrate on the game. I didn't think it was that big of an issue. Thanks for the suggestions, Game Dev Story seems a great, and I was interested in buying that anyway. Already have PvZ, not perfect but maybe a goer. TBH, I am not a Tower Defence fan, but maybe I'll get one to see. Anymore? It is hard to enjoy scenery you have seen repeatedly for the past year or so.
/facepalm When Apple creates a touch device capable of braille, then maybe I will be bothered enough to learn it. I am sure braille based games will be very popular in the future.
No offense, but why the hell would you want to be playing a game while walking? That's like asking to be ran over. It's going to happen. Either way if you decide to go through with your decision, please be careful.
warpgate i think. you can plot a course, then just let the ship go itself. just check up the position every once in a while. or any TBS
I must confess to playing while walking (I have a fairly long walk to my commuter rail station). Two games that worked well for me were Rimelands and (especially) War of Eustrath -- both are turn-based RPGs and are easy to play with just the occasional glance.
Ah, see I'm not the only one. I have Rimelands, but I have never thought it would be suitable. Will try it next time.
