So I took the plunge and purchased Beejive IM. Unfortunately, I am having an issue with listing my buddies by account. I understand that there is an option for this within the app, but whenever I access that option, nothing happens. My buddies continue to be listed by group. This is really becoming frustrating. Am I doing something incorrectly? When I click on "List Buddies By Account," it takes me to a list of my account names. There is no definitive place to select this option. In other words, there is no "yes", or "no" to select. So how do I make this change, because I feel as if all of my buddies are scattered? Thank you.

"List Buddies By Account" is not an option you can tick, its actually the list itself.

From the list of account names, pressing on any account will display the users only for that account.

If you are looking to list the buddies by account in the buddy list, Im not sure if BeeJive can do that. Maybe you can send them a direct message and ask if its in their app roadmap: http://twitter.com/BeeJiveIM

Edit: Im not sure if this works, but maybe you can assign all the users in an account into a group named after that account. Then under the Settings app for BeeJiveIM, turn on the "Use Groups" option. This will display the users in the Buddy List grouped by their accounts.

PS: Actually, I find myself using the meta contact instead of groups or list by accounts. Its useful because I have multiple accounts and so do my friends. So instead of looking for person A and their Jabber, their MSN, their AIM separately, meta contacts allows me to group all the accounts of the same person into a single row in the buddy list.

Thank you so much! That explains my difficulty. I did what you suggested and grouped my buddies by account. Thanks. :D
