This may seem like a dumb question and I am obviously not very good at searching these threads but I can't find the answer anywhere... Where the hell is the arena/colosseum?
I would just assume 1 END for 5 HP, since this is what Aegis provide with INT. Grit seems has the same AP ratio as Flame weapon, so there would be no surprise that Aegis provide HP in the same ratio as END. The headaches will be how much dodge rate DEX provide, or critcs SKI provide, though the latter one is relatively easier to test.
Anyone have any build advice for Rogues, or links to Rogues // Rogue/Ninja builds? I'm noticing that I have significant trouble against large groups of mobs, I go through potions far quicker than I think I need to... even with some extra endurance so I can wear some heavier armor. I've heard rogues ought to be comfortable on current-level and even above-level content, but I seem to be struggling more than I should be, even when I'm careful.
What level are you currently? I have those two bookmarked, but they are both endgame builds: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=3242467&postcount=63 http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=3244876&postcount=156 Didn't try a pure Rogue/Ninja yet, so I cannot really comment on their strength and weaknesses on lower levels. From their skill list, I'd say focus on single target damage, and pick up a healing skill like the Paladin's Aura of Light on the way. Battlemage's Flameblade and Manastrike should complement nicely as well.
blade walk[ninja] is the best AOE physical skill, and as a ninja, u shouldn't aim at high HP and armor, but rather high damage and life leeching. blade walk with merely 5% life leech would usually replenish 80% of your HP. And savage bounce[barbarian] is also good.
Is there a skill I should be aiming for that provides the life leech, or am I looking at gear? (I'll give a blood soaked sash a try and see if it helps me out any.) Thanks for the advice! I'm level 21 right now... can't manage to down that level 21 stone golem boss with for the blacksmith quest... :/
Early levels when your damage is low, Aura of Light(20% leech) is needed, and another suggestion is to invest 33 CHA to pick up generalist[bard], it will save you tons of stats in the long run, and help you pick up end game skills in early levels. But honestly that is just cheating
Hey guys, dunno if this has been posted already but, is it normal to lose 1100 gold as penalty for dying? :S My first char was a tanky paladin/warrior so I didn't die that often, but now I am leveling a ranger and holy hell I am having a problem with gold because of this. :/ Edit: Ah, just read that you lose a whoppin' 20% of total gold when you die... :O
Holy shit!! I guess nobody has paid much attention to "Deep Wound" passive, but the damage boost is just insane, much more than lethality! In description it says something vague like"every critical hit deals bleeding damage", but how much? My buffed shadowstep critics for 4900, then the boss continuously bleed for 4000, 3800, 3200! The bleeding damage is more than double the original hit! just imaging a skill says:"every critical hit deals 3 times the damage", no doubt everyone will pick it up. EDIT: deep wound can't be trigger when flame weapon is on, This doesn't make sense, hope Mica Moblie can fix this. EDIT2: It seems deep wound usually doesn't do that much of damage, it differs from each skill, and whether u are buff and damage passives, I can't figure out how it fluctuates yet. But now I'm lvl 34, I can one shot the final boss with a buffed shadowstep and consequential damage from deep wound
it is definitely good for a melee class...unless you are going with a Colossal weapon, fist, or shield Smoke screen, and Blade Walk are pretty amazing. Though i like Ki Blast more than Blade Walk. it does as much damage, but also does a knock down for about 5s. A lot of the passives in the ninja tree are pretty nice. (see my spreadsheet below)
Completed game at 52 level and unlocked all skills. I want to start a new game + but anyone can help me about stats? Which stats would be good for dagger or sword user ? I have to put my most stat points into dex for dagger? And Str for sword? Dex doesn't effect sword damage?
I think bleed damage is probably a % max hp. So great against bosses. After playing a bit more with my dex build I've settled my favorite arena build. I've made it to 240+ In arena with this build at 56. After that it gets hairy because of caster spike damage. Skills: Shadow step Blade rush Paralytic blade Radiance Wrath Aura of light Lullaby Smoke screen Passives Impending doom Favored soul Evasion Dual wield Lethal edge Grit Equip is just 1blaze song amulets 1 ninja glove and daggers The basic idea is to keep wrath and aura up and just auto attack. Your cool downs should reset enough to always have smoke screen up. Always use smoke screen at the start of a wave. The active attacks are only needed to take out casters especially if you get a wave with 3 bone mages. Hit paralytic blade then lethality then shadow step. If a wave starts and your cool downs aren't up hit lullaby for a 10 sec pause. If you get low on hp hit radiance then blade rush. For optimal stats you'd want 2 dex and 1 stamina. For a new game+ I'd try to hit 40 stamina and 80 dex or so by my level. I tried monk and that may be the most viable single class build, outside of auto attack speed unarmed just isn't as good. But you could just swap out flying kick, 1000 hands, and pressure point with my build and go full stamina for monk.
Grit seems good for any melee build as optimally you'd want to pump stamina a bit for arena. Grit gives you an excuse to pump it as much as you want. And nothing else competes with 20+ weapon damage.
Just a quick update. I have all but 18 skills now in my spreadsheet (linked below). I'm just missing a few in each of the 4 INT based classes, but should have them soon. I have also updated all the other fields like Requirements, Cooldown, Description. I added a column that calculates the Min. Level required to obtain the skill
thanks, seems like str and sword better damage than dex and dagger, but dex effect your dodge chance, probably i would go dagger
