Well if they decide to cripple the multiplayer by only allowing 1-4 players then the only reason I'd get this game would be for the campaign. I would probably try the multiplayer, but if it's only 1-4 players then I don't see much point.
COD Zombies works pretty well. I agree with him. The Battlefield series was never known for its single player experience. I'd rather have a solid, 10+ player multiplayer experience than a campaign that I'm only going to play once or twice and a 4 player multiplayer experience.
Damn....the 4 plaer thing really blows....but think of it. Maybe they used theyre brains and made the maps a bit smaller and more compatible with 4 people...AKA...your not walking around for hours looking for someone. Either way..it really might not be bad. I just hope it's no Eliminate.
Maybe if there's online co-op against AI players then it could be good. But 4-player competitive online just plain sucks.
4 players are still few it shoult had 10 except if it means 4-4 witch means 8 i REALLY hope this ...or more cod zombies works pretty well cause its co-op and because it is...cod but what am trying to say except from the fact that campaing is usefull is that its not that they make a campaing and say "hey dont give to people too much add only 4 player multiplayer cause we added campaing" lol how many stuff it has the game is about the power of iphone and they want to support older devices they will make it 4
ELIMINATE??? Please don't ever compare eliminate's MP with BFBC2. That's like comparing Shrek Kart's MP with Gran Turismo's. MP is battlefield's main agenda, and the tactics involved are quite different. MCS2: Black Pegasus would be a better comparison, and that's doing quite well for FPS (multiplayer) fanatics.
If they make it just 4 player then they might as well can the whole project because it won't do well, I've never played the campaign of any first person shooter I've ever played ,I play them online only because it's more fun. Most campaigns are good for a once through and that's it whereas the multiplayer keeps you coming back and keeps the game alive.
We can't even say for sure it's 4 players. Did you see the date of the article? October 7th. EA gave us crap and 5 screenshots. How would they know?

just because it may happen doesn't mean its likely. battlefield has had NO media coverage...a game of this proportion woulda been hella hyped up and marketed as a groundbreaking technological breakthrough in mobile gaming etc...its EA...

Yep. IMO, Eliminate is the second worst multiplayer FPS I have ever touched in my life (Archetype being the worst). Even if the gameplay it self was good (it wasn't), the controls sucked ass as well, not to mention the graphics (except this one map). NOVA MP could have been good but the servers are always empty. Archetype was crap. I want my money back for that BS "game". MC1 was good except too many campers and hackers. MC2 is a really good iPhone multiplayer game. And COD: Zombies was good too for Co-Op, but the graphics sucked. But now I'm usually playing Black Ops or BC2 on my PC.

4 player multiplayer is totally expected with how lazy EA are. NBA Elite bug, FIFA lag and crap update, hot pursuit not having racer mode, MMA crashes, Reckless Racing Retina bug, stupid boobie heads
