Because the game is called Basketball Z i thought it meant Zombies!! LOL What does the Z stand for? A simple game with one goal. Shoot a basket. The controls take a little getting used too because although they are easy to use, they are a bit sensitive. You pull back from the basketball, aim for the basket, and let go. Think angry birds, I guess. When you play, there is a background picture with some small animation. IE: cars going by. The basketball hoop shows up in a different place in every level, as well as the ball. If you want something simple to get your mind off things, basketball Z could be a good time waster. I am having an issue though, with level 5. I'm sure it is just me. So, i could use a little help here. LOL The hoop is towards the bottom right of the screen and the ball towards the upper left. It seems like when I shoot, the ball disappears just before the basket. iWalter Member Jan 21, 2013 16 0 1 #4 iWalter, Nov 21, 2014 Last edited: Nov 21, 2014 Thanks for trying it out. I appreciate it. Z is for zombies. Level 14 has zombies in it. It is the only level for now that has zombies. Just a silly little distraction. The walking zombie will cause your ball to poof away and it will score a point against you. You need to shoot and score before the zombie reaches you. In level 5 you should be seeing an angled trampoline in the bottom left corner. You need to bounce the ball of that trampoline. The bounce will move the horizontal bar that is blocking the net. Thanks again...Walt Lavender Well-Known Member Dec 31, 2013 2,966 0 36 United States #5 Lavender, Nov 21, 2014 Thank you for your response! I did try bouncing off of that bar biut the basketbll would just 'poof' and I didn't pay ny mor attenyion to it. So glad that I wasn't wrong about the zombies!! LOL I am going to play again, with more focus on the bar/tramp. I'll come back and let you know how it goes. # Thanks! ##### iWalter Member Jan 21, 2013 16 0 1 #6 iWalter, Nov 21, 2014 Screenshot 3 is actually level 5. You need to bounce the basketball off the angled trampoline in the bottom left corner. When you hit the trampoline the horizontal bar blocking the net will move. If you just hit the horizontal bar the ball will poof away. Good luck Lavender Well-Known Member Dec 31, 2013 2,966 0 36 United States #7 Lavender, Nov 23, 2014 Thanks for the responses. I have had so much going on in the real world right now, that if think I was missing the 'point' on a lot of things in the virtual world! LOL So.... Gave it some play time. Finished all the levels. Played through the whole game a couple times so I could focus more and give some valid feedback. I know I allready gave some initial feedback so I am not going to add a review here. Just different things I've noticed. As I said before, it's an aiming type game. There's not very many levels. I would love to see more. I stated before that the controls were litle sensitive. I can now elaborate on that. When pulling back on the ball, alot of times, the aiming area is too close too the edge of the screen, Once you accidentally go past the screen of your device, the ball automatically shoots when you were actually trying to figure out your aim. Sometimes it just feels like my fingers are too big. (I actually have thin, long fingers) So, sometimes it is a little uncomfortable and frustrating. My favorite part is when the zombies are stacked and 1 keeps walking towards the basketball, causing you to lose your ball! As the game is now, there are some tweaks that are needed to make it go from fun to fabulous. More levels.(Obviously) Fix or tweak the ball aiming I wrote about, above. One suggestion would be, to be able to aim from anywhere on the screen, without touching the ball. More zombies. When the zombie makes the ball go poof by walking by it, instead; have the zombie actually grab the ball and walk off with it. (This would just be funny!) What about the zombie heads acting like trampolines? Just an idea...... That's all I got. A lot of potential here. Thanks! iWalter Member Jan 21, 2013 16 0 1 #8 iWalter, Nov 23, 2014 Last edited: Nov 24, 2014 Thanks again Lavender for the input. I'm glad that you feel that the game is fun. As per your advice, I am working on making it more than that I already have a few new levels created, and I am working on more. I want to do more with the zombies. They are fun to work with. Maybe some dwarfs too I will revisit the touch radius for the basketball. I already expanded the radius as per my daughter's and other tester's advice. Do you think that I should put in some hint arrows on the more challenged levels? I had them in originally, but I removed them at the last minute. The arrows would point to where you need to aim/bounce the basketball. Let me know your thoughts, please. Thanks again...Walt Lavender Well-Known Member Dec 31, 2013 2,966 0 36 United States #9 Lavender, Nov 23, 2014 Some hard core gamers don't like obvious hints. I think it would be a good idea to have the ability to turn on or off hints. How about paying for the hints by losing shots? IE: Your ball shot count goes up by 3 if you use a hint. Then high score chasers will think twice before using it. Dwarf zombies would be funny! iWalter Member Jan 21, 2013 16 0 1 #10 iWalter, Nov 29, 2014 All codes use, thanks.
