Starting late really doesn't put you at a disadvantage. You get to roll through some lower ranked people, plus with the additional time you have, you could work on hero bonuses.
Do you have the bruiser armor or any bruiser hero? It's a great counter to quicksilver. Also don't have any inf, except maybe kitty pryde. Do you have a good weapon to replace MFG? fon my 5 attacks, I got scrolled 3 times, seems like it would be a waste of a turn to me.
7-0 overall so far. 5-0 atk, 2-0 defense. Looks like working on nothing but blasters and bruisers for bonuses is paying off for now.
Is it just me or is the revenge button disabled? I really hope that it is unusable for the duration of the pvp season. I hated that button.
I've got Scrapper Power agent, WW2 Captain America (tactical) and Hercules now, and that's done excellent against Quicksilver. He powered up my Hercules so much that I one-shotted an agent with him :-D Depending on how much Quicksilver (and I suppose Magik / Ghost Rider) is used I might even switch my agent to the Bruiser Power armor so I have TWO guys getting powered up by Quicksilver. I'm very close to having Grief, so yes, I'll switch out the Magnetic Field Generator for that ASAP. Although I'm wondering if Fist of the Colossus might have some use this round what with all the burning weapons and statuses that'll be going around...
I've read about UJ bein awesomeone for PvP. Yeah, just frustrated with the constant crashing. I already backed up and restored my device and that didn't do anything. Maybe it's a 4S issue with iOS or something. Was going to try to make an early push in PvP, but not sure I want to risk a crash and insta-loss Lol
Using fist, cancels out the bonuses for signpost and hotshot. You have to have those debuffs to get the bonuses. So it really sin't viable with the weapons we recently got.
revenge button has appeared for me, haven't tried it yet though. Glad to hear that it might not be working!!

For those of us with two devices, here's a fun bug. You can play your five PVP matches on the phone for the daily reward and XP bonus then play five MORE PVP matches on your iPad for more daily reward and XP bonus! I just got a free daily spin and five battles of bonus XP (which leveled my agent up!)
Depends on the hero. I gave my Captain America a lot of defense and dodge and a little bit of attack, so he can soak up the protection attacks. Hercules is all attack and defense. Etc, etc. Figure out what you want to do with the hero or agent and then socket accordingly.
