Been waiting for this one and it says it’s out now on lots of platforms including iOS. But I can’t find it yet, can anyone else? Wondering if maybe it’s filtering out or something?
It got moved here and said because it’s not released but if you check their Facebook and website it says it’s released including on iOS. @W8rd3 yeh I was wondering about that since you could buy it on their website and play anywhere but I haven’t seen many games let you buy from outside the AppStore yet and let you install an app. I know the EU got it but since we left the EU we didn’t get the epic store in the U.K. and I haven’t seen any like it yet.
I had a look and didn’t see an iOS link. When I clicked on one section for iOS it seemed to suggest making a shortcut for a website which seems crap hope it does come out. Looks decent
@psj3809 yeh for that price I want a proper app not to play via browser I’m not back in the 90’s am I? Although seen a few like that lately. But would definitely be a real shame as it seems like a decent advanced wars like game for iOS if it has a proper app.
Weird pocket game mentioned it if it’s not a standalone app. But didn’t see any ‘available on iOS’ type banners to take you to the App Store or that. Unless it’s launched tonight or already in NZ
Yeh sad news. The dev responded to me and said it was the web app only and that they were hoping to work on official apps at some point. Sounds like they haven’t even started an app yet so I imagine it’ll be years before we ever get one if we ever do?
Something a little different, format wise here. It’s an unashamed tribute to Advance Wars. Buy it once for $19.99 and you have it on all formats, Steam (including MacOS), iOS and Android. For iOS it’s browser based which seems to work just fine for this sort of app once it’s added to the home screen. I’ve only dabbled a bit but it looks like it scratches that AW itch and scratches it well. With full map editing capabilities hopefully with a reasonably sized community it will really have legs. athenacrisis.com
Moved this to general as it’s not an iOS app. There’s loads of browser based games out there but we can’t really list them in the main iOS thread shame about the price. Got no interest in any other format. Just a shame it’s not an iOS app
Fair enough. For what it’s worth, it plays fine as a web app. Only problem is the lack of offline play which I accept will be a deal breaker for some folks.
