Personally, I'd be fine as long as the game is fun, the gender of my player is the last thing on my mind. But then again, considering the large majority of the App Store audience consists of males, you'd probably be better off giving an option for a male player. If you can, I bet adding a customization thing (like mebeswordsguy said) similar to what was offered in The Sims 3 would be awesome.
B would be nice , it would also be nice if we had a little closet for a set of clothes too. So it's girl/boy - pick your clothing. and you're set! great combo if you added online multiplayer!
So when is this going to hit? I have high hopes for it since I really liked Harvest Moon back in the day.
It's been a while so here's a quick Astro Ranch update: - Visiting your friends Ranch is going in - Chatting with your friends in game is going in - Multiple outfits/wardrobe is going in. Some will be bought in game/some will be special prizes and some will be for micro-transaction - We are just going with the one character Sindy to start with but are open to adding more characters including a male one at a later date. - In addition to normal crops you can also grow wacky stuff like ice creams and cup cakes! Development progress has been steady this past month and I hope to have new screens to share in the next couple of weeks. We are tracking for a December release but this is one game we are not going to rush! As a small developer we are only as good as our latest game and we want Astro Ranch to be awesome and live up to the hype! P
One of my favorite games was harvest moon, and this is sounding like it's going to be an awesome game! Good luck and it's an insta-buy from me
