Glad you like it Astro Bang uses a completely different style of graphics. It shouldn't have any similarities with Alien March. Thanks!
I'm definitely digging the graphics on this, and as far as the icon goes, I like the second one for its simplicity.
Yes, it was surprisingly overlooked. The amount of options was great. Best thing was 3D option where you could use red/blue or red/green 3d glasses to play the game. Now that was awesome. BTW, do you need help beta testing this one?
Your icons needs to fundamentally "pop out", so I choose the fourth one. Ideally, you should build a list of target requirements for your icon -- goals it should strive for. How does your icon help differentiate itself form other apps? What sort of information, message and cultural style does it convey? Does your company and its products have a unique style and culture to be communicated through its icon and public material? Does your icon optimally use the rules of graphic design? Does it make efficient use of color? Are the internal shapes in the icon easily recognized from quick scanning? Are they consistent if reduced in size? Etc.
Good luck with testing, looking forward to seeing the finished product Just a quick question, this thread is in upcoming iPhone games but the video is an iPad in action, does this mean it's a universal build?
We have two builds iPad build and iPhone build. Both builds share most of the code. We made iPad video because iPhone build is slightly behind and iPad has a bigger screen but it is very likely when we'll release this game we'll release a universal build
Thanks for the screenshots. Do you have a general release timeframe in mind, or is the game far off enough that you can't really give us one at the moment?
I love meteor blitz and this has some sweet graphics. I like the gravity and trajectory mechanics visible in the video. Looking forward to playing.
