Okay, let's have fun respeculating. Nova 2 is out in the second week of December and Asphalt is out in the 4th week (3rd week Itunes Connect is down). Will Gameloft dare put Shadow Guardian and Starfront Collision in the same respective weeks as well?
I think we need one of those big boards that they have on CSI so we can pin a picture of each game to a timeline and figure this shit out It's possible that Gameloft will just go on a frenzy and release all their games in the last week before the App Store closes. That would be awesome, but I don't think it's very likely. But who knows? After what they did today, they could do anything.
Prediction, assumption, etc is all immaterial; fact is, you (and you only) were wrong. Don't be bitter. Why so serious?
If I were a betting man, I would say NOVA 2, by itself, next week. Asphalt 6 & Shadow Complex together, the following week.
I suspect: This and Shadow Guardian be released on the 16th. The week after is the big moment (Drumroll..............) NOVA 2 as a Merry Christmas from Gameloft
I think Asphalt will come out on Wednesday, one day before real Racing (just like Eternal legacy did before Infinity Blade). That means that Shadow Guardian and Nova could still come out on Thursday, and the star craft one in about two weeks time. (If Gameloft pushes out al their titles before christmas it may be a brilliant idea, gifts for some friends/family and after christmas, people may not necessarily be in the spending mood anymore )
If I see anything to do with Elimination races or Cash events I'm not buying Asphalt 6. In the previous game those were so horribly done and, for me, it made the game totally unfun. All they had to do was put a damage indicator on the opposing cars and slow them down, but nooooooo. Anyway, the game looks awesome, as did A5. I just hope they made it fun.
I definitely agree with you - the elimination was awful - it was impossible to eliminate a car when you wanted to I had to restart many times just to hope that I magically hit a car in a specific manner to 'eliminate it'. And the cash events were awful, how does hitting stop signs and trees generate cash for you ... ? They should of named it 'damage event' or something But it was fun and I hope the next one is also the same I loved how easy it was to drift and handle the cars
I like the way you think sounds like a good release schedule and would make sense for gameloft see as Shadow Guardian is actually getting some good sales/discussion even with IB out
Seriously, Gameloft, WTF? You make good games, but the only reason I laughed at this was because it was so crap. If I hadn't previously known about Asphalt 6, this would've put me right off. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
anyone already mention the trailer and car list? http://pocketfullofapps.com/11/23/2010/asphalt-6-adrenaline-trailer-screenshots-and-car-list-released.html
This game must be out pretty soon because Touchgen just reviewed it. http://www.touchgen.net/asphalt-6-review Very positive review, they gave it 4.5/5. Hopefully it will be released soon.
If you put Asphalt 6 in search on iPhone/iPod it will show up but not on computer. But it says no match when clicked. So it looks likely its been aproved but Gameloft are now waiting a bit after Real Racing 2's release to now release it.Should be out soon, not that I'm waiting for it though, rather have RR2
