What does "growing up" have to do with playing video games? It's no different than enjoying other forms of entertainment like books, tv, movies, and music. If anything it's more engaging than all those because it's interactive.
You poor thing you. I pity you that you have to state that publicly, and that someone injected into your poor brain that "growing up" means no more gaming.
Damn, Weg. Everyone's piling up on you. Did think it was funny to read the "I'm growing out of games... but I'm going to pick up my new toy!" combo. Heh. I'm on your side with the iphone usage. I honestly use it as much as my pc when I'm at home or out of the office. I'm constantly finding new tools that let me shift my work onto the iphone pretty effectively. And if I can just find a good bluetooth keyboard for it... well then I pretty much wouldn't need a laptop. Once I start to think about it in those terms... paying PC prices for the phone makes a little more sense. Although a $200 netbook with 3G would make a lot of sense too.
@ my buddies heyyy now that you point it out, I really don't think I phrased that right. I used to stay up all night playing Total War or Age of Empires etc, and now I just cannot do it... I can't sit still for that long maybe? The only gaming I do is on my iPhone, which couldn't be more convenient... I think i meant that as you gain more responsibility, you find you have less time to put towards gaming.. that sound fair? Maybe because it's summer and i'd rather be outside haha who knows That make sense? I wouldn't be on this site if i didn't want some games in my life! I really meant games on the PC... not iPhone.. the mobile platform is replacing PC games for me, especially as the quality gets better
