    Stay at home dad.
    Kansas City, MO area
Anyone else out there having major issues with making too many purchases in the App Store?

I'm a little too infatuated with and addicted to it myself. So much so that my overspending has created a rift in a personal relationship.

    Anyone else?

Haha, yeah, there's been countless threads like this about the very same topic. Some people actually spend 10k within a year  I thank god for iTunes gift cards and Green Dot.

Green Dot Debit Cards. It's everything a debit card is except you don't need to sign-up with a bank and create an account with them, you just reload it with Money Paks and pays $6 a month.

*pay. The monthly fee for it is $6. Getting paid them would be nice, though

Each of them are $5. Gotta put in at least $30 per run otherwise I'm not getting my money's worth and it'd be cheaper just to get gift cards.

How is that cheaper? Is there no tax or something?

Nah, no tax. I'm guessing it's because only specific stores are allowed to sell them, Green Dot pays them a percentage of what they carry. Just a hunch. And to me, it's cheaper since I use the card for more than just iTunes.

Oh ok, so I guess it is not financially better, just convenient?

Yeah, pretty much. The reload and monthly fees make iTunes cards cheaper, but I can't use an iTunes card on Amazon.
