Today is the one month mark since iNsane v1.3 was submitted for review. Still nothing from apple regarding why review is taking so long. I'm thinking that pretty much everything they said in response to the google voice ordeal was a lie and the extended review times are simply them tightening up the process to match what they claimed. Or maybe they just enjoy jacking developers around.
Amperage, Str8ts update (bug fix) has been over a month as well. Same as my Domino Dice patches so you are not alone. I could just imagine if a game had a major bug how many bad reviews one could get in 35 days. Both these games where down for a few hours on iTunes so I am hoping for some movement.
I spend more time bug testing than I probably should.. Working with Apple I guess it's worth it to spend that time and not have to stick your customers with the problem for who knows how long.
Yeah, I guess we've just been really fortunate in our submissions to apple. I think the longest one took was a bit longer then 2 weeks, most others have been around 7-10 days. Try giving apple a call if you haven't already...or just send them an email...i've always had luck receiving responses. Good luck!
This is interesting: http://iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=5118 Could this be true? We've been waiting really long for our game to be approved...
Actually it looks correct x-x Games sorted by "Release Date" only show one app from Saturday, everything else Friday or earlier. We tried to get our new game approved before iPod3 launch but are waiting now 20 days.
Bingo!!! All this just reinforces my determination to get my game out with no need for an update. I didn't say perfect, but I want to avoid a Duke Nukem-ish fiasco.
I try and do that, but being a 1-man army it's a little hard to find everything. This is the longest I've ever had to wait for an update.. almost a month. Is it worth it to resubmit?
Rejecting / Resubmit I was at 28 days of limbo when I rejected the binary and resubmitted. That was close to 16 days ago. The flower Garden dev just had his updates approved after 30 days or so. -------------------------------------------------------------- Trak4 and Trak4 Lite, a unique puzzle game on the iPhone and iPod Touch
I stated that "Bowman meets Lord of the Rings" for our game Champion Archer. So it was Lord of the Rings... I just wish that I could have simply changed the keywords, then have it approved. It looks as if we must wait through the entire review process, which loses the entire month of September for sales.
