I have recently started some app awards(it's mostly games, that's why it's in this forum) and i just want a little feedback about what categories i should have and what app you think should be in those categories. right now i have a 'app of the week' and 'best app award'(possibly rename???) Thank you for any and a feedback!!!

Were is your creativity? Must people ask for every tiny thingy these days? Can't they make any decision on their own anymore? I have a great idea but need a name for it. And please, if you have a name, could you please also post a fitting idea? Do you also know, that many cooks .... and so on? Sometimes it's simply good to DO something instead of asking for help for every little step. Sorry, if this sounds harsh, but in this forum people are more and more just asking for every bit of decision they could easily make on their own, if they would just think and be creative, follow their taste and so on...for 5 minutes. Not that hard. And the personal reward afterwards is a great feeling, believe me. So, please, simply be creative, your site, your rules and I wanna enjoy and criticize something finished, something served...from YOU.
best in genres (puzzle, platformer, action, arcade, word, racer etc.) best specific aspects (music, graphics, controls, polish, story) best ideas/concept (all original titles - the ones that are the most innovative) best use of technology (like Tennisking said) best ports/sequels best overall, best of week best hidden gems most addicting, longest, funniest, strangest . . . games with best devs/most improvement best games in the eyes of the public (fan favorite) most disappointing apps (apps that are hyped or popular or showed promise that do not live up to expectation) worst apps overalls in specific genres worst app ever i thought of these awards with games in mind.

Some people may think this is lame but: Best Icon Worst Icon As stupid as it may sound, I have refused to purchase apps before because they had a lame icon. Especially ones that have an ugly, bright red "SALE" or "50% Off" plastered over the front of them.
If I make one person laugh a day, that's all i ever ask for! You see what i mean though, You gotta have an angle!
I believe it has something to do with censoring out other websites. One of the other websites is a p p v e r s i t y so they block out anything with v e r s i t y in it
