I'm starting C25K tomorrow (the program pretty much takes you from a couch potato munching potato chips while watching TV to running 3 miles without stopping in nine weeks). Info about the program: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml Currently there are two apps in the appstore. Apps are great because there's a lot of running and walking changes back and forth and makes the managing of the program a piece of cake. You run when it tells you, you walk when it tells you. Anyone tried one or the other or both? Pros and cons for each one of them? They are both $3 and both have a lot of positive reviews. I do want to be able to listen to music and it seems both do that, and both have updates. http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=301233668&mt=8 http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=313494823&mt=8 Thanks!
well out of curiousity i've had a quick look about this ! Cant follow th itunes links but i have found the three which do the job "Get Running" - good reviews on the german story and only 99c and i presume your two C25K - the facebook / twitter stuff is a bit too in your face for my liking and couch to 5k which from reading the blurb looks good, but i personally am not very impressed with the design well i will sleep on it tonight and then following the istore philosophy try the cheapest
I did the c25k one until my knees gave out. It got me off the couch though, joined a gym and make use of the weights, elliptical, bikes, and light treadmill usage. So guess it worked.
