We've got a few promo codes to give away for Crosswords, the premium App for solving tons of the most popular crossword puzzles on the iPhone or iPod touch!

Crosswords lets you download and solve daily puzzles from over 30 of the top newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal, the Village Voice, the Onion, the New York Times, and many more.

Just post a comment telling us where you find your favorite puzzles (ie. the NYT, Boston Globe, etc.) and we'll select 3 winners to receive a promo code for the game!

Here are few links to check out as well:

When I used to subscribe to the TV Guide, I loved those the most (I know..its sad), but I will work on whatever one I can get my hands on (even if its someone else's). Now that we don't subscribe to a newspaper, I hardly ever get to do the crosswords anymore, except at the inlaws (or online) so I'd love to get this App so I can get back into doing them.

The interface looks quite nice and I'm impressed by it's access to so many top daily puzzles all directly in one app.

    Thanks for your consideration.

My favourite puzzles of all time come from Kris Pixton, both the PC versions and iPhone versions of PathPix have me totally hooked.

As for crosswords, I don't buy my own, but I have a habit of searching train carriages for discarded newspapers just to fill out the crosswords. I actually used to carry a pen for that reason alone :)

    New York times

My favorite crossword puzzles come from the New York Times because the difficulty ranges over the course of the week.

I just do the puzzles in the local paper. Good enough for me.

While my favorite puzzle games on the iDevice are Str8ts, and PathPix, my favorite Crossword puzzle games have always involved NYT. Although, I am not very good at the Friday and Saturday puzzles - too obscure for me.. I also look for USA Today when I am travelling. Would love to try out your crosswords app.

Ok, don't laugh ... but I really like playing the AARP crosswords on KrossWordz on the mac. Also Thinks and Houston Chronicle. Crosswords is a great app - any chance you'll add AARP?

I get my crossword fix from the Universal Daily Crossword at orlandosentinel.com. I also make attempts at the free weekly Classic Puzzle from the NYT archives online. It's been years since I've actually held a physical newspaper in my hands.

My favorite is from the "Pink Section".... anyone from the Bay Area of SF will know what I'm talking about. They are tougher than tough and I am elated when I am able to actually complete one lol! I also love the NYT crossword... and in my bathroom, there are always at least 2 "easy" crossword books/magazines -- the quick short kind that can be easily finished in well, you know lolol!

As of now I have 2 crossword apps on my ipod touch... I'd love to have another.

    Peace and happy new year.

    Al

PS: I just realized that I already have your app (at least I think it is)... the app I have is Crossword light by standalone inc. v.1.71.0.0 (i.p.a) is what the info is on it. SO I think I'm covered. If this isn't your app... I'd love to try yours.

My favorite crosswords are from USA Today and LA Times. I just got into crosswords a while ago and now I'm totally addicted and have to do one every day

    Favorite crosswords

I like the Wall Street Journal -- unfortunately it's Friday only -- and the Philadelphia Inquirer. Also New York Times, when I can get it, to gauge my improvement. I really like doing puzzles on line -- partially because I can't read my handwriting!

Congrats to the winners, more codes available!

Congratulations to the following winners, who were selected for being themselves. (No reason, just randomness, actually :))

    Expect a PM.

We also have more codes, so let's keep this going! If we get 10 more responses, I'll give away 2 more codes, so you have a 20% chance of winning!

To respond, just let us know where you find your crossword puzzles. Thanks!

TV Guide ones are fun because they are of only moderate difficulty.
